Let's not forget, PS4 is also having a day-one update.
3D media makes up for about 1% of home entertainment devices.
My home is one of the 1%. I have had a 3D capable PC monitor with nVidia 3D vision for about 3 years now. However, I haven't watched a 3D movie on it for almost a year, mostly because I'd rather watch 3D movies in the movie theater.
And as for 3D video gaming... There are only a few games out of the hundreds that have "Excellent" / "3D Ready" capabilities that can be pl...
Sony has been trying to push it really hard since BluRay is capable of supporting it.
It's been like this for several years... Not just with the PS4. DERP!!!
@Mike134nl,
I know it's a mistake, but I like the idea of it. Sure 8gbs of ESRAM would be absolutely and insanely expensive, the heat produced would be insane, but the speeds would be phenomenally insane.
Maybe when Xbox Two comes out, it might become more of a reality.
With Jeremy Conrad making such comments, no wonder he's an "Ex-Editor" for IGN.
Oh! I see... A female reviewer... I was wondering why there was so much negativity concerning sexual stuff.
Very rarely do I use offline mode. I guess you can call me a socialite.
To be honest, I wonder if people were really concerned about HAVING to go online after MS's "must go online once every 24 hours" PR fiasco.
Since we're grammar trolling...
Sony (being a name of a corporation) should have the verb conjugated into the singular 3rd person form.
AMD's equivalent will be cheaper and just as powerful... but nVidia's frequent driver updates and support is where you get your money's worth for paying a little extra.
If it were an Xbox One game the title would read:
"Amazon getting paid off my M$ to give out free games and falsely labeling it as good customer service."
I remember hearing about, "Powa of teh Cell..."
And look how well the PS3 turned out.
My German seems to be a little rusty... Maybe it's because I'm expecting to watch a video in the same language as the site that it's posted on?
But obviously cloud gaming sucks... otherwise a majority of people here on N4G wouldn't have said so prior to this tidbit of information.
Sony made about well over $500 million profit with the PS3... yet it's a small drop in the bucket.
@stickers,
Please! Spare me your cheap and pathetic attempts at belittling me for my inability to become absolutely familiar with the PS controller. Just in case your own degrading words prove yourself to be more apt, 'qualm' means uneasiness...
@BoriboyShoGUN,
That is very similar to what my problem is. Thanks for a more intelligent reply.
My biggest qualm with the Playstation controllers is the abstract symbols they use to just be "different."
Except for Sony's, there is not a single controller out there that doesn't use the alphabet.
"Who The F' needs cheats for Deer Hunter?"
The idiots who think it's actually a good game.
Hmmm... Since I can plug my iPhone into my sound system, I fail to see what's so important about an MP3 player being omitted. Regardless, why do you people get so uptight over the littlest things?
Sure people can play TitanFall on the PC at 1080... but can their graphics card handle it at its fullest?!?
Many of the people above who are boasting about not needing an XboxOne probably can't play it on a graphical par on their PC. Thus, your comments are questionable.
@ABeast,
No greater nor significant point than Riderz...
But, I guess mine is less appreciated than his. Though I can't quite figure out why or how.
