Xbox fanboys are just like Sony fanboys in this area... They are completely capable of forgiving their console's shortcomings.
But demographics (like here on N4G) clearly state that there are more Sony fanboys. So two can be taken from this. One, they [Sony fanboys] make big things bigger and little things are made big. And two, they don't matter to Microsoft anyway.
So... Recovery is quite possible.

They'll have to pay a ton of money to MS since Microsoft Game Studios co-owns the publication rights to the franchise.

And enjoy it you might... but do understand that the resell value of games like this will more than likely be less than you would expect it to be.
Disappointing, but not unexpected.
As soon as I saw the video for this game months back, I immediately had low expectations. Would have it been nice to be wrong and find out that it's a wonderfully fun game? Sure!!! But alas, it seems that it isn't.
For those who are shocked and surprised that this isn't getting a perfect 10...
If it were on the PS3, it obviously would be a perfect 10.
But for next gen, the bar must be raised to meet higher expectations.
Polygon does have some things right...
The controller is awesome.
It's primarily a gaming console.
But more importantly; other than KZ, the other exclusives aren't really "must buys."

It's amazing that N64 only had 2 launch titles for North America: Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64. Both of which were extremely well received.
Sure, quantity helps, but the quality of launch titles are the real system pushers!
If you got 0.1 of a cent per an advertisement on each page, you'd do the same.
