I would want a vr headset for an openworld game. For example Far Cry 3 would be crazy with a vr headset. Hang gliding would be super fun. =)

Where on the website can you order them from? The only thing I see is the PS4 2 DS4 skins that is the nuclear cases.

Why are all the skins currently unavailable?

People buy Nintendo consoles for the next Mario game or next is Luigi. But on a technical level Battlefield 4 has a ton more technical details. Attack, jump, duck, sliding down tubes, destroying small cubes and growing up in Mario. Battlefield 4 the maps are extremely bigger, taking down a skyscrapper, all the different guns, lens flares, vehicles, different types of recoil for different guns, different damage for the guns, different gun attachments which affects how the gun performs, hots dro...

Actually it sounds like something a Microsoft fanboy would say. Not trying to bring a fanboy war but its true. With the PS3 the RAM was allocated and when they used all of that RAM they couldn't add features but with the Xbox 360 since the RAM wasn't allocated they had room to add the features such as party chat.

The PS4 has a larger memory footprint so they can add features but some Microsoft fanboys still act like it is last generation.

If we aren't patient the games will come out with less quality and be bug infested. The first game that comes to mind is Battlefield 4

Well a 3 year development cycle usually for games. Sony could be setting up Naughty Dog to release a game every year. With the quality games they make I say bring it on.

I honestly don't get why people have 100 or more people on there friends list. How do you keep up with that many people? Anyways that bug sucks for the people it locked out.

It is like Dead Island mixed with Mirrors Edge but the night time gameplay looks like lots of fun.

The PS4s CPU is AMDs Jaguar. Usually the Jaguar comes in 4 cores so double cores means they have double the performance. The other question is how good the developers engine is at multithreading. Because 1 thread per core means they can have 8 threads to use but some developers engines are better at running on less cores but are a lot stronger.

But offloading the particles to the GPU means they can use the CPU for different tasks. Imagine the CPU running the particles and the...

Not necessarily resulting in bad AI. It still depends on a couple of things. Since they are multicore some developers engines run better on less cores that are more powerful. For example SOE admitted that there engine for Planetside 2 ran better on Nvidias gaming rigs because it isn't made for multithreads. Just so I don't confuse you think 1 core runs 1 thread. So for the PS4 since it has 8 cores they will use 8 threads. 4452d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

The GPU is sooo much more powerful then the CPU. Especially in the next gen consoles they are both using 8core jaguar which is basically2 tablet CPUs taped together. Since there is a lot of smaller calculations happening at the same time it takes less strain for the GPU to run it because it's so much more powerful then the CPU is.

That is also shown @The_Clank youtube video.

In all fairness EA makes DICE release games on the timeline they wish. Dice can tell EA they need more time but its up to EA to make the decision when to release it. For example Sony could tell Ready at Dawn The Order 1886 has to be released on a specific timeline no matter how many bugs are in the game.

I know Sony wouldn't do that but as a example.

I'm imaging the gamers that upgraded there PS3 to PS4 version of COD Ghosts counted as well though. I wonder how many physical copies were sold.

I doubt the steam machine is going to sell well. Most people who want an upgradable gaming machine already have a gaming rig. The whole point of a console is you buy 1 and every game you buy for your console works on it. They don't want to check what specs you need to even be able to play a game. It's about ease of use and the steam machine doesn't supply that.

To me "hardcore gamer" doesn't reply to people that only play on a high end PC but people ...

I've played MW3 and have prestiged 51 times on 3 accounts. I played cod black ops 2 and have over 94,000 kills. The maps are way to large for cod ghosts. For 6 vs 6 what was fun with other games was there was 3 ways to go and each of them funeled into smaller areas so the action was easy to find. With how big the maps are on Ghosts it's really hard to find any fast paced action. Then when you do try to run there is all snipers. The only good map for fast paced action is strikezone and...

Just pathetic. You admit you have hackers yet you don't do anything to discourage them to come back. No wonder why it's hacker central there. I'll stick with Killzone Shadowfall thank you very much. If you do play COD don't even bother reporting people because Activision is just to lazy to care. All about the money. No wonder why the maps suck.
