Battlefield 2 is amazing, I love that game.
Firefox has been around 4 years longer than Chrome.
That's because he obviously doesn't.
I'm so sick of the unrealistic upgrade argument. Does the console hardware get upgraded? No. So obviously we don't need to upgrade the PC either to play those same games.
Two problems with that strategy:
1) I don't have an Xbox
2) If I did have an Xbox I'd still wait for the PC version
Yup, I play through this game every 5 or 6 months. It's freaking awesome. Actually, I'm just now getting this urge to install it again.
It's almost certainly the many flashes going off that confuse the system.
Every flash produces one or two completely overexposed frames for the Kinect camera.
Of course it's linear. The first one was linear as well. That's why it tells such an amazing plot.
You're getting all these disagrees because the journalist who was sent a preview version and actually PLAYED it has no clue. The N4G fan crowd however does have a clue.
Yes, there was some variation early on. But I do remember it getting insanely boring and repetitive a bit later.
And the levels are VERY empty. Interiors are basically just walls with no objects anywhere.
I did play the first Halo on PC, but had to quit after about 8 identical, empty, repetitive and bland levels.
I have no clue how this game spawned several sequels, but people must have liked it apparently.
The guy who insults another poster, drops the f bomb and acts like a kid has five bubbles.
Why? Well, his name is Colonel-Killzone and this is N4G. Surprised he doesn't have 20 bubbles yet.
You can't count on the 2D version necessarily using better effects, textures, models etc. It's possible, but it's a lot of additional work for the developers.
It's more likely that the 2D mode will literally just be the left eye viewpoint with all game assets the same as in 3D and the benefit of double the frame rate.
That's what it's all about. ATI don't allow to force it through the control panel because performance supposedly drops so much.
They are more worried about looking bad vs. Nvidia in the benchmarks than giving the gamers what they want.
The 30" monitors are 2560x1600. About 4 million pixels, twice as many as 1080p.
It's not Starcraft's fault if those systems can't handle 100% CPU and GPU load. A proper system doesn't overheat at 100%. Time to dust off those heat sinks.
Come on guys, read the article. Buyers of Amazon e-books, that's the unlikely audience he referred to.
Toyota > Porsche
It's fact. Just look at the numbers.
The thought of a laptop bought for gaming makes me cringe.
Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous how they call $40 "insanley low."
