I heard he's bothered.

It's hilarious how anybody can disagree with you on that.
MS-DOS was introduced in 1982. I still play the occasional 1990 game on my Windows 7 build. You can't even play PS2 games on a PS3 Slim.
To think the PS3 will somehow outlast the personal computer as a gaming platform is ludicrous.
<<So i can deduct from that you are confident in the product, the sales, the potential and everything around it...>>
You cannot deduct that because it's not true.
From a technological standpoint I'm interested in the motion capture technology used by the system. But I think it's glitchy, and the current implementation will lead to boring games.
Or rather, games which are boring to me. There is a huge crowd out there who will love this t...
Where did I say that the Wii is not a shard in Kinect's foot?
Where did I say that the audience will pay for online?
Where did I say anything about the potential of Kinect or the power of the 360?
Where did I say that the Kinect will sell well?
Where did I say that I feel confident in the product?
You fanboy kiddies really need to stop thinking in black and white, making immediate assumptions. I merely explained Microsoft's reasoning be...
Yup, Uncharted 2 made us "sh!t our pants", the screenshot section on IGN proves that quite well:

Its hardware requirements will be less demanding than Crysis 1, that's already been confirmed. And it makes sense because it needs to run on consoles which didn't get a Crysis 1 port precisely due to hardware requirements.
So anything half-decent will run Crysis 2.
They're opening themselves up to a new demographic and tell that audience what they want to hear.
That's marketing 101, and any "hardcore" gamer who takes offense in what was said is either oblivious to how the economic world works or is themselves one of the sweaty basement dwellers.
Their last surprise was Portal 2 for PS3.
If you're really holding your breath for Episode 3 or even Half-Life 3 I'm pretty sure you'll suffocate quickly.
I don't even listen to their announcements of "surprises" anymore cause I'll just end up being let down.
Amazon sales stats are a meaningful enough sample. However, with the release dates of these systems so far apart, comparing the number of pre-orders is completely pointless and silly.
The article doesn't talk about the overall graphics. It just points out a few particularly ugly textures.
These pictures are not indicative of the overall quality. The English title chosen by N4G is completely misleading.
Talk to you when Killzone 3 is out and doesn't look an inch better than Killzone 2.
<<Devels probably decided 720p was the sweet spot, and pushed the envelope in other directions.>>
Right, so you agree that they maxed out the system. They could have done 800p. 840p. Anything at all. But they didn't. And it's not because they didn't want to. They had to pick 720p as a compromise.

Clearly not that good. If you haven't played them.
They do?
If they're not maxed out, then why are even the biggest AAA exclusives like God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain or Alan Wake not 1080p?
Sure, if you like spending $1,300 to play on a crappy 17 inch screen.
Which laptops to avoid for gaming? How about every single one. Laptops are not for gaming.
Pretty much.
The fastest desktop-class processor in the world, 12 GB of RAM and 2 TB of hard drive space? Really? No, not really.
Well yeah, why do you think they're throwing Move and Kinect on the market?
It's like a silent agreement not to release a new console and recoup losses by putting the current consoles on life support for a few more years.
