but this is how human beings are functioning. to get an unfair advantage by applying semantics. logic and reason are tuned out with the majority of human beings. and it is not even their fault. in the end, it's their dna who is controlling their every move and actions.
eww.. i was interested in this title because everybody and their mother got wet just by mentioning the title. but now that reviews are out and words like "souls" and "souls like" and "the better souls game" are written i'll gladly pass on this one. this generation continues to stink like a rotten egg.
nindenos launch lineups were almost always pretty lame. it just got more and more worse with every new attempt. i am a serious gamer and i can see zero incentive to be interested in getting a switch. it is too weak for real third party open world games and it relies heavily on their own gaming catalogue. thing is, nintendos own games are at best a shadow of their former selves. they have become beyond stale.
i get that products get created in the customer's heads (you can see th...
still no incentive to buy a box, sorry. got a ps4 and a pc and i WANT to own a box but there is just no reason to buy one.
aaah, gta5... the game i stopped after a few hours because the feeling of repetition to the other gta's out there was overwhelming. such a boring game if you played gta before. but then, this game is still making a shitton of money just with their microstransactions. when i am thinking about it, human beings are deserving exactly that.
improved souls clone? thanks, pass.
no. it was boring and even worse: very stale. graphics wise and gameplay wise. the game design was also lame. few people i think had seen the open world portion of the game. and it got even worse with each sequel.
this will be another DOA (dead on arrival) like the vita was. or the wii u for that matter. even the 3ds had to be lowered in price significantly 6 months after release.
buying everything digitally. haven't been to a games store in ages. so i don't get tempted to buy the collector's editions that are on display there.
too less memory. a supposed it infrastructure from the stone age. no ports (because we are oh so our own niche) of current and future games. no. there is no incentive for me as a gamer. and don't get me started with this zelda thing that is looking beyond dated. and the moronic decision to rely on a smartphone app for voice chat is beyond ridiculous. and how exactly did they solve the audio problem? one earplug from the smartphone and one earplug to hear the actual game sounds? kids, wish...
thanks, but still no. i bought and played the first one. not interested in a continuation of this universe/franchise. again, thanks. stop hyping now.
wasnt this a mobile/tablet game?
last time i checked, nintendo was arrogant enough by stating that they are not acknowledging the market and its contenders. they are not getting tired of this bullcrap. so no, no nintendo fan should buy these games because they oh so got their own niche, so they don't need third parties and so on. i will not stand in their way and will gladly ignore this out of touch company.
at least no multiplayer crap trophies, but the speedrun trophies DO suck.
the main reason would be that games are getting more and more stale and unexciting. in 2016 there were only 2 (TWO, two) games that really thrilled me. the rest was more or less a big "mehh". even the game 99% of all ps4 gamers voted the next best thing since chocolate. i was bored to death by this exclusive. so, are you really blaming people who don't feel like supporting a dead industry? why not spitting at the industry with the command to spice up things again?
nintendo-flair? stoneage-online infrastructure presented by mii's with huge eyes, huge heads and mini bodies. yes. thanks, pass.
nintendo is really the greediest of the 3. with the ps4's service i already got some questions but overall they are doing a good job. but nintendo is plain out greedy. overcharging their stuff and at the same time neglecting everything their audience is wishing for. and further: overcharging stuff and at the same time not acknowledging that they are part of a market. if they are doing "oh so their own thing and finding their oh so own niche" then i oh so don't want to see an...
personally, i think the new zelda looks kind of dated gameplay-wise. the graphics are not convincing me either. so, the main selling point out of the equation what do we still have? mario? done with mario games. they became very stale during the past few years. the usual pikmin, kirby and starfox are also not really appealling to me as a gamer. so why should i buy this switch? for the 3rd parties and ports? i don't think so. i rather think the switch is gonna fail. hard. they are 10 years...
'member the debacle with the 3ds? released it with a pricetag that was reeeeally out of touch with the gaming world. and they had to do this stunt where they lowered the pricetag significantly shortly after release. they even threw a bunch of crappy games at the user as a kind of excuse to be an early adopter. i was one of them. and i predict the same with the switch. not 6 months after release they will have to lower the pricetag to 200 because gamers are stupid, but not THAT stupid.
wonder what nintendo will do this time. last time they came up with an overpriced and underpowered gadget that came years too late into a market that did no longer exist they had to do the stunt of drastically reducing the price of said gadget no 6 months after release and give the early adopters a very lame present for supporting them from the start.
with the switch they will also have to do this kind of stunt. the good thing is, this time i will not get mad at the lame excuses and ...
