The thing that just struck me was the fact that the XBox has only been out a little over 3 years and yet, many people have replaced the console several times. Once in 3 years I could see, but 3,4,5, or even 6+ times in 3 years is indeed unimaginable.
I will commend MS on stepping up and extending the warranty, then again it was in their own interest to do so. If they hadn't, either sales would have immediately came to a screeching halt, or a massive lawsuit would have followed. R...
To be honest, what makes the Gameboy a top seller is that it's constantly upgrading its functionality. Every so many upgrades however, lose their backwards compatibility. This has not really been a bad thing as it gives the system a fresh new start.
Its time for the PSP2 with a right analog stick. It'd be backwards compatible although the games might now be. It would give ps2 devs a similar platform to work on if they are not ready to step up to the PS3.
The PSP2 co...

I think the following quote gives us a good idea of what is really going on.

QUOTE: "Maintains the artistic goals and vision through all phases of the game development cycle from pre-production through final product release. This entails ensuring animation assets are of the highest artistic quality and uphold the integrity of the games design and artistic vision of the game as a whole."

I got this one Friday.
Only 10 more to go for mine then. lol
It's not too long, not too short. For the first game in this series it's a good introductory piece. Also, it gave players a choice on how hard of a game experience they had. If played Right to Left it was rather easy, but if played Left to Right, then the challenge factor was much higher.
Pros:
1. Flowing game play, much like Mirrors Edge.
2. Lots of checkpoints
3. Impressive fighting combos
Cons:
1. It could have used lots more fighting oppor...
I've got he Dvd version and as epic as it was, it felt odd. It was basically all of the cut scenes of a full game minus the gameplay. There wasn't even any travel scenes to show the passage of time and space. It's as if the cam operator was warping back and forth around the world. I think it would have been better if they would have released a short game than to just give us only the cut scenes of one.
I'd like to play the demo, but I'm not going to buy that movie twice just to d...
To be honest, this and Fable are the only 360 games my PS3 pines for. I just hopes EA goes for the money and makes this baby multiplat.
Interesting game. I'm gonna have to investigate this one further.
Thanks.
1. LBP
2. Warhark
3. MGS4
4. Motorstorm 2
5. Killzone2 (Prepaid Preorder) Why risk not getting one on day one.
6. As a bonus get yourself Eden or Flower
I got LBP at the top because Sackboy is a perfect metaphor for PlayStation Gamers. We all begin our PlayStation lives as a blank slate, but from day one we create our own experiences.
Even though Internet Explorer is "free" when you buy Windows, in reality it isn't. You are really just paying extra for Windows to cover the cost of IE and all of the "Extra" programs that come with Windows. These "Extra" programs include Media player, Windows Messenger, and Outlook Express among others.
At first, Windows came with a choice of what Browser you used from day one of the installation, although these where the limited free versions. Back...
... and i took it anyways.
The first thing I noticed was the timing of this article. Exactly one week before "KZ2-day" and about one month before the EA sports complex for Home is opened to the public. On top of all of that there was no mention of "Reliability" factored into the Bang for the buck category nor upcoming games library. But hey, we all knew who was going to win by the time they gave the 360 bonus points for the controller... so oh well.
I'm up for some racing... are you!?!
Thanks for the tips!
So true, I remember the NES days with it's "blue screen of death" and cartridge tricks just to keep it working. and that is why I loved my Sega master system and later the Genesis. I was a hardcore Sega fan from then on... until PS1.
Now flash forward to a few generations of game systems and what do we have, the XBox in one corner and the PS2 in the other. When the Xbox was released, I was tempted to join the ranks and get one. Then I remembered who made it, Microsoft. ...
Well Teh is more of an intentional misspelling used to stress the sound one makes when one mentions something they disgust. And to show the depth of their IQ and verbal/written communication skills.
Oh and I'm replying to your post and not "Teh" article because someone might actually learn more from this. Your welcome.
Sony has come up with a lot of good ads lately, unfortunately you have to already have a PS3 or good Youtube hunting skills to see them. I actually can't remember the last Sony related commercial I've actually seen on TV... I think it was 5 years ago when the PS2 and Xbox was still in a heated battle. This was before rumor of the XBox360 or PS3 even began.
It is safe to say, that Sony's greatest failure this generation is not the console itself, nor the games, and no not even the...
My cousin is a UPS driver... you know the guys who come and ferry consoles across the river Stix. Well he has only picked up and delivered "1" PS3 that was defective in the past 2+ years. However, he is always picking up and delivering a XBox360 on a daily basis. He has even told me of a household with 4 boys, Of which 3 have Xbox360s, the youngest a PS3. All of the Xbox360s have been refurbished at least once, while the PS3 keeps working and working. Until my cousin tells me RRoD i...
Basically, he is saying that the story of a solder (Sev/Cheif/Shepard) isn't art due to the "Gameplay", and that if games are to be art they should consist only of narrative... or some asinine concept he has of what is art.
Games are indeed art, but that which you get to experience the adrenaline rush of facing 1000:1 odds. where you get to live the chase scene instead of just observing it.
Art is meant to invoke an emotional response. To give you new insig...
