I signed up at the first of the year when PS blog annouced that they are accepting applications for beta. Hopefully I can get in... and good luck to everyone else as well.
That explains why PS2's GTA:SA had lots more content than the lastest game. Of coarse most of the DVD9 was used mostly for the advanced graphics, but the added room of BlueRay would have allowed all of the features of GTA:SA to be included in GTA4... not to mention any new ones that they would have been able to add.
5" Floppies would still be spoiling these kids nowadays... lets go back to paper punch cards.

Will the PS3 get ME/ME2 I hope so. If not will I kill myself... not a chance. Would I go out and by a 360 just to play them... not a chance. Would I go out and buy a new PC just to play them... already in the budget so it's all good.

Just for the record, I would consider getting an Xbox360 if it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that RRoD is a thing of the past with the new console. As for the PC... well I need a newer one an...
So true, Basch was the most interesting char in the game and it felt like you was just a sidekick telling his story.
And since Espers and Quickenings would drain all of your Mana, I never used them. They delt so little damage to the enemy that it was better to just focus on malee attacks and to use your mana to heal... and to occasionally attack.
I think this has more to due with Sony then MS. Sony likely wanted MS to dig very deep into it's pockets just to license DVD playback. Especially if that License could potentially be used to turn the Xbox720 into a Blu-Ray player. So it's no surprise to me that things worked out this way.

There are over 4 million players on KZ2... so to say it hasn't been selling is surely a misconception of those unfortunate few who can't play it due to console exclusivity. ;P

I am a Sony fan, but they keep hampering the PSP as thinking of it as only a gaming device. If anything, the IPhone has shown us that multifunctional hand held devices will sell.
When you think about it, the IPhone costs more than the PSP, yet it's selling like hotcakes due to it's ability to do the one thing the PSP sucks at... making a phone call. The reason you don't see more anti-PS3 posts is due to the low failure rate and the lack of problems with the system. Especially when you consider just how advanced the technology in the system is, everyone was expecting it to have more problems.

Xbox sold 6 million 4Q of last year and it currently has a 7 million unit lead. So basically if it wasn't for the price drop, PS3 could have possibly caught up with the 360 by now. Interesting isn't it when you really think about what is scheduled to happen in the next few months. To say that Sony can't close the gap begins to look not so impossible when you look at the numbers & time line correctly.

LoD would be killer, The first was almost on par with FF at the time.
Also, the reason most RPGs these days have below avg sales is due to the Wii type kiddy appearance of the games. They all seem to be cell shaded with some little spiky haired kid as the main hero/heroin. I just wish both MS and Sony would give me an adult based RPG to sink my teeth... and wallet into.
