I did notice that the article felt dated, Twilight hasn't been shown in the theater of Home for quite some time. I just dismissed it as I know many mags don't print articles for weeks to months later.
Ohh well, the more people talk about Home, the more people talk about Home. So thanks for showing Sony some love... hate... whatever. All press is good press.
when you consider the time and money Sony has invested in Home and compare that to other Video games, it may seem underwhelming. But then again, games are meant to be action driven, where as Home is meant to be socially engaging. Those are two completely different objectives and is akin to comparing Halo with The Sims.
Yes, Sony could have done much more in less time if they would have began with a real MMO engine. Instead they started with a start up engine for an online game th...
"In certain parts of the country, Blu-ray has grown to a significant percentage of player sales. In Denver, for example, one of the hottest markets for the technology, Blu-ray players accounted for 24 percent of the total DVD market for the three months ending January 2009."
You will also notice that Denver is also one of the first cities transition to the all digital tv transmission system. As more cities make the change, more HDtvs are sold, more Blu-Rays sell.

that once PSN has cross game chats and invites, the PSN will be hands down 50x better than XBLive. Not only will it be free, but it will have all of the basic socializing features of XBLive, but it will also have a media library and social hub (Home) that just can't be matched by MS.
By the time XBlive's Miis... I mean Avatars get half way to where Sony's Homyz are, Home will be 50x bigger and better. Heck now that I think about it, if you count the games in Home, PSN has even mo...
If... correction... when Sony makes Backwards Compatibility standard again, then the PS3 will immediately have access to all those games.
I just wish the PSI came with PC drivers.
Edit:
Now that I think about it, I have seen a use for the PSI recently that should be used ASAP. Sony can use the PSI for head tracking to make games seem to be in 3d without glasses and fancy gizmos. With the right games, this would really rock.
80% of the time you can get 65% of the statistics to say anything you want them to, down to within 40% of your target agenda.

Get your Game On!
PS3 already lets people connect a keyboard and mouse, all we really need is for devs to start incorporating a key mapping control setup. This would let players use either the SixAxis or a usb/bluetooth keyboard to play games. This one feature alone would allow RTS games that have the same controls as PC games, as well as give some of the top pc gamers even more incentive to consider the PS3 as a gaming rig.
This one feature alone would help the PS3 more than even Cross Game Chat...
I know I'm going to play some FreeRelms... due mostly to it being mostly free. As for the others, I'm keeping tabs on DC and KOTOR to see which one is gonna give me the most bang for the buck.
It's been a long time since I've payed to play a MMO, mostly due to me getting out of computer gaming and back into console gaming. Now, my EverCrack addiction is starting to come back to haunt me now that MMOs are coming to the PS3. Whats a gamer to due these days...

Make sure Sony makes lots of money from Xi, then sue them 10 years from now. That way you'll get more in the settlement.
Then again, it could lead to a new server where everyone can meet. Now that would be interesting as well.
FFVII is the best FF
EEEEEEEEEVAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!
It is the first, last, and middle game that people think of when you say RPG. You can't have a RPG discussion without it's name coming up. FFX was good, but FFVII is RPG.
Mawhahahahahahahahahaha!!!
Now you and your Eye Pet can do even more than just play games on your tv. Now you can take it for walks while your mommy keeps an eye on you two. Yes, it will even wake you up for school by releasing water from a spout on it's underbelly. Yes kids, your Eye Pet can now play with you offline!!!!
Act now as supplies are limited to only the first 50,000,000 customers.
Actually the 60gb version has PS2 hardware, the first 80gb (aka MGS4) version used emulation. It's only the recent 80gb version that lack any official Backwards Compatibility.
As an MGS4 version owner, I've enjoyed every min of my PS3. I even completed FF12 on my PS3 as I didn't want to reconnect the PS2. Now I'm thinking about getting my hands on FF11 for the PS2 and seeing if I can connect to the servers. Wish me luck.
@Morrissey
I know this is a fake, but the real point of it is to show Sony just how much consumers desire such a device. If the PSP2 came with all of those features and a built in camera, it would put the PSP into a true league of it's own in the Handheld market. It would have the best of every phone and mobile gaming device currently on the market. All in one convenient and affordable piece of lovely hardware.
I might have to take a look at Google Earth after all. Find out what I've been missing... literally. ;P
Microsoft
Yep, the company who has been sued the most, who has bullied anything resembling competition, and is the top name mentioned with antitrust lawsuits. They will be the first to sue Google to try to open a wedge for MS to get a deeper foothold into another market.
I'm also pretty sure it's MS who is behind any critics of Googles influence. Especially since Google has taken the top position as a major influence in online interactivity. This is just what MS was...
The reason MS is announcing their focus on community for this E3 is simple. Due to the knowledge that Sony plans on having an exact replica of their E3 Booth in Home, and they will involve all PS3 users with the event. So by MS saying that they plan to involve the Xbox Live community, they want to make it seem as if Sony is coping them.... good try though.
Although from what I can tell, there will likely be either a monthly fee or a yearly fee. Hopefully it will only come out to around $5/month as anything more will likely put off a lot of potential customers.
It is interesting to see just how far the gaming industry has come in such a short time. Today's gamer comes from all walks of life and every part of the world. From the mailman, to the lunch lady, to the president of... well anything and everything. You never know just how much of a gamer the person next to you is.
The DS is a gaming device, the PSP is a multimedia gaming device. That is the main reason that people buy the PSP. Now if they gave it 3G, a built in camera, lose the UMD and add a HD; it would be the best mobile device around.
