Sony has some experience with remote gaming and are likely to push development of their own system.
MS would be more likely to make a deal so as to get access to Onlive's IP.. so they could study it and then develop their own version of it. Onlive is likely well aware of this and wouldn't sign any exclusive agreements as that would put Online at the mercy of MS.
Nintendo Wii is a great alternative as their system is not as powerful and would get the most benefit from...
1. MS also gets paid from advertisers
2. MS strictly limits the size of files Devs can provide
3. MS will even force devs to charge for DLC that they want to give away for free.
does the imported version have an English GUI setting or is it all still in Japanese/Chinese. I'd consider importing this one if I could understand the GUI... of coarse, after a few hours of playing around I'm sure I could figure most of it out anyway.
Colony Wars is one of my top fav space flight shooters, and the PS3 has been missing this genre of games for some time (second only to Freespace). Looks like I'll get my space legs back sooner rather than later. YeA!!!
I've got to read the article again as I'm now so stroked about this game. Before, I would just hear about how well it was selling, and not a word about the gameplay or plot so I didn't care about it. Now I think I've found an RPG (W or J) that I can sink my teeth into.

I've been waiting for an RPG that is not cutesy and kiddy like most of the resent drivel we have been offered. From the article, sounds like this game is basically like Diablo, but using the third person view... and maybe minus the random dungeon generation since you didn't mention anything like that... but basically the same depth of game play and storyline.

From what I just read, Realtime Raytracing in 1080p (or 4K hopefully) @ 60hz+, just might come to a console near you in 1012. It's already been done with 3 PS3s linked together through linux, and using just 14 SPUs to render a relativity simple scene. Now just imagine what could be done with 64 SPUs.

due to their copy protection, that is likely the reason your having such a hard time. My suggestion would be to just copy what you need onto the new HD, and then use the external case for the old one. That way you still have your saves and your new larger HD.

I've met gamers and socialites from all over the world. Some just a few hours from me, some from clear across the world. That is what Home was meant to do, to introduce players to other PS3 players. It's just a shame your limited to only 100 friends and 5 clubs at a time.

I'm not mad that SE is interested in making multi-platform games. They have grown a lot under Sony's banner and their games have been getting massive. Massive games need massive sales in order to recoup dev costs, so Multi-platform development makes sense
