From a business standpoint, its competition on their own platform with what they're trying to do with PS+ & PS Now. I'd be lying if I said even a part of me was upset that this is not available on PS4. If the decision came down to either PS Now or EA access, I would take PS+ & PS Now in a heartbeat, because it's not limited just to one publisher's content.
"But what if in a few months Ubisoft offers a $5 subscription to Ubisoft Infinity for $3.99...
You must be new. Go look up "worst company in America".
Personally, I think it's great that EA will let people try some of their games early. This way, people can experience them and avoid the mistake of buying them, like I did with NFS Rivals. :)
Nothing will ever top Wii Sports attach rate.
@tbone567 Don't you worry about PS Now, because surely EA Access will save the Xbone! :P
OT: Can't wait to take this for a spin. 100 games is a great starting point. I hope the lag isn't bad with everyone jumping on board at once to test.
This. If they do add this notification feature, I would definitely want to be able to enable incognito, so I'm not bombarded when I go online.
Let us not forget, this is the same corporation voted worst company in America twice. The same EA which is also apparently having to investigate it's own Origin software behavior.
Yeah gamers would be crazy not to accept their services with open arms...
I was wondering what 1.75 featured. I too was prompted upon booting up to play TLOU. I'm glad they added it, cause I've got a 3D TV which needs some more 3D love.
Btw, TLOU in 60fps is oh so sweet. I was curious about the 30fps lock and switched once to try it... Heeeeelll no. I switched right back to 60.
Nagging usually leads to results eventually. Beware though, they're not always the results you may expect. But in your case, you were successful!
My main concern with this is that its a service for older EA games. If I was a BF or Fifa fan, I likely would have bought the game when it came out. So this probably isn't aimed at gamers such as myself, probably for some casuals (as the article mentions), those who are on a budget, or those who wait till games are bargain bin cheap before buying. Which is fine, as its not like having more choices is a bad thing.
Yes. In Canada, the PS4's regular price is $449. So this bundle is like getting the game included for free.
Lol! I got censored as trolling cause I thought the reason for the subtle change was funny. Quite the sensitive mod I suppose. I never said it was a bad idea, just funny is all.
Ever see this walk-thru of E.T.?
https://www.youtube.com/wat...
He completes it in 4 minutes. o_o
Why do a comparison video in 720p? O_o
The problem with them selling is I doubt any company would be willing to pay the price they'd want for it. That said, if they did ever strike a deal, then I'd say totally yes. Hopefully the new owner would do away with the greedy practices such as parity clauses, and consistently pump money into creating a greater variety of exclusive games. Ones that don't launch alongside PC or end up over there. And it would have to be a company with a good track record, so gamers could really ...
@AID
Except the PS3 was released a year later and had to catch up, whereas Xbone was released in the same month and continues falling behind while the gap in sales continue to grow. For that reason, I disagree with your use of the term recovering, as the Xbone has not begun closing any gaps.
The truth is, regardless of how well or poorly it does, the Xbone is here to stay as long as Microsoft says so.
What's that? Nintendo is the only console manufacturer whose actually made more money than they've lost during the last ten years?
Nintendo's been "doomed" ever since N64, and yet here they still are.
Played for a few hours today. Can confirm Destiny and Party Chat are working great on PS4. Hope XBL gets it crap together soon, so all Xbox players can not only sign in but get back on their party chat. After all, there isn't much beta time left.
The more appropriate wording should have been, buy Raymen Legends and receive a free Xbox One.
Of course it was a mistake tho. :P
I personally don't care whether or not it sucks. To me, it's about the exclusives and the performance (or lack thereof) being met with an appropriate msrp. Once it gets both those things right, I'll consider picking one up.
