@FriedGoat "Not that it matters, it's not like the NSA can use the fact that I enjoy doing helicopters in front of Kinect."
Now there's a Kinect game that needs to happen.
Not impossible, but improbable.
The original Xbox reportedly sold 123,929 systems at launch in Japan.
Of the 159,000 shipped, the Xbox 360 sold 62,135 during it's launch in Japan.

Wanna hazard a guess at how many the Xbone sold?
@Ron_Danger
Probably some PR BS similar to this:
"The Xbox brand continues to see growth in other major markets. This week we proudly debuted Xbox One in Japan, which saw not only gamers from all over the country purchasing Xbox One consoles from their respective local retailers, but also a strong demand from our online retail partners.".
OT: I can't believe how several of the same locations which had long line-ups for PS4, didn...
@DLC
That's not what he's saying. He's saying he wouldn't want to wait in line if no one else was, because he would be an object of ridicule. And if you think about it, what is the point of waiting in line? Is it not to increase your odds of guaranteeing your purchase? So why would you wait in line when no one else is and there's an obvious plethora of inventory that will remain unsold?
Don't judge him. Maybe he has a 720p TV and prefers a native resolution... XD
I guess we'll need to hear confirmed numbers (assuming we receive sold and not shipped numbers), but I think it's pretty oblivious that the Xbox brand is dead in Japan and won't be making any kind of a comeback. That ship has sailed. The original Xbox had the biggest launch for the brand. The Xbox 360 launch numbers were around less than half of the original and I expect this one did less than half of the Xbox 360's numbers.
Now, let's see how it does in ...
Once they launch in these markets, it would be nice if they announce how many are sold-through to consumers. But given the circumstances, I'm sure we'll be presented with a shipped number closer to PS4's sold-through numbers.
Do or do not. There is no try.
Sounds like an improvement. I personally couldn't stand the old Netflix app on Xbone.
You should probably get that looked at.
@Eonjay "So what are you guys predicting for sales?"
Launch day sales, 55,000 with week total of 62,500.
So this is essentially a backwards compatible successor to the 3DS? I'm a huge Nintendo fan but I think this is going to cause a lot of consumer confusion. At first even I thought it was just another model.
I also don't get why they feel the need to do this so suddenly?

+ what ErcsYou said. So now you can stop wondering.
I can only imagine how puzzled they must have been trying to figure #11 out. Good ol' Bugthesda. XD
This is awesome. Well done, JulioNIB.
"Splatoon came from 1 such group and there are apparently a bucket load more on the way. "
This pleases me.
I'll be completely honest. I pirated it to see if it was good, and I still felt ripped off.
For me Halo 4 was a big let down. It's also the only Halo game I've beaten in one sitting and never touched since.
I still prefer the campaign of Halo 2 the most.
The gameplay, levels and soundtrack to DuckTales was awesome. I'd take DuckTales any day over the Little Mermaid.
