Nobody's stopping you from going elsewhere.
It was a very good game, despite the fact it was Doki Doki Panic rebadged with Mario (which I was unaware of as a kid). It was always my least favorite of 1, 2 and 3, but I still enjoyed it.
The first console I ever bought day one was the Dreamcast. I loved it. I was mesmerized with the graphics of Sonic Adventure and Soul Calibur. I bought a ton of games the first year. I was very pleased.
The second console I bought day one was Xbox 360. That's when I learned most game consoles don't have much of a library their first year.
I don't understand people. History just continues to repeat itself.
@ThatOneGuyThere
"you forgot OS and input devices."
The OS is up to the end user of course. Steam OS, Ubuntu and other free Linux builds can be installed at no further cost. As far as input devices go, there's ultra cheap to high end. You'd pick your own, and add it to the final price.
"Also, does a 750 really stack up?"
This is a 750 TI. Speaking from personal experience (as I have a 750 TI in my HTP...
But they did back in the day. I believe the main reason they don't now, is because they don't want to get into a price war on hardware with the competitors.
They'd probably be duking it out with Sega. And if for some reason Sega would have still left the console business, it would be a more fierce battle with Nintendo. We would have seen a new Earthbound game, and the Last Guardian would have been released already. :P
The Dreamcast was generally a small success around the globe before Sega pulled the plug. If anything, Xbone is more akin to the Sega Saturn (even more so, considering their respective E3 disasters prior to launch).
@funkybudda
"you still cant build a PC that offers the same power as PS4 for $399."
I was curious, so I tried on Newegg and I was successful:

(Sorry for the PDF share, the public wishlist wasn't working).
I think the extra $13 was justifiable, cause I went with a faster quad-core cpu. As well, this build is probabl...
From what I've seen so far, I can't really say interested in it. But if when it releases it turns how to be excellent, then I'll probably try out the inevitable port and/or sequel.
Considering the Wii-U is currently in second and the rate they've been selling the last few months, Xbone will need to pick up steam in order to pass the Wii-U over the next couple of years. After all, didn't Wii-U just last month outsell Xbone world wide? You can't catch up unless you're selling more.
Since the PS4 is the preferred platform for multi-plats, Xbone doesn't have nearly as much going for it this gen as opposed to last gen. So for second place...
Dat sarcasm. XD
It would be funny if they were comparing the graphics for a last gen game to a current gen one. XD
The remaster itself runs at 1080p and 60fps, which is a far cry from 900p and 30 fps.
@AID
At this point, count me in as one of those waiting for Quantum Break on PC.
And Titanfall being mostly purchased on Xbone is really quite understandable. Those console owners needed something new to play. The PC and 360 aren't short on games. Even my brother, who does 90% of his gaming on his GTX 770 almost bought TF for Xbone. His exact words were "I need something to play on my Xbox One".
"No Plans For Ryse on PS4"
And nothing of value was lost.
Behavior, yes. But I'm certainly not disappointed by their sales. I say, let the problem solve itself.
Who'da thought a game console running a stripped down version of Windows 8, would bleed this many games to PC?
In any event, this is great news for those of us who own a decent graphics card.
What's the reliability like though?
I hope it's true. I have no problem waiting for the PC release.
