@AngelicIceDiamond & maniacmayhem, I sincerely hope you two are both very young, because your level of comprehension to the situation at hand is exactly what I would expect from children.
@AID "Now as a gamer that's more games for me to play."
Let me make something perfectly clear: You have not gained an additional game to play thanks to this timed exclusivity bs. The game was always coming to Xbox.
A true gamer would see ho...
True, but they were talking about the extra content, not the whole friggin' game being exclusive.
What they hope to achieve and what they actually achieve are not the same thing. In cases like these, it results in money losses and hurts the franchise.
falviousuk, the only thing discraceful is your comment. Next time, try reading the article before commenting.
@Morganfell
Amen. For me, two bridges were burned yesterday.
@Mr Pumblechook
Agreed. I said yesterday after the announcement that this would do more harm then good. These brands must be run by idiots. Given Xbox's history and current position in the market, it honestly boggles my mind how they could not foresee this blowing up in their faces.
"When people want me to say, can you tell us when or if it's coming to...
Should be titled: "Ryse of the Tomb Raiders".
Just don't come crying when your sales suck.
I'm grabbing this day one. Loved I:SS.
Awesome news!! XD

Yeah, that's very good. Especially considering it's only 9 months in.
Sure it can, you're just to immature to realize how. As a multi-plat title, you were going to get this game anyway. But now, the Xbox division has pissed away a lot of money that could have been put towards a new exclusive, which you very well could have loved (and probably would have, since you appear to love all things Xbox).
It hurts gamers as a whole because rather than putting that money towards a new ip, money was spent just to keep a game (which xbox owners were going to get anyway), away from the other gamers.
All the more power to you, Lelo. However, some of us choose not to reward these type of actions out of principle.
I have been waiting for them to invest in creating new ips, to show me why I should buy their consoles for the 3rd time. Today, they showed me they are more interested in taking games away from other gamers and platforms, rather than creating more of their own content.
They had a chance to win gamers like me back, but they pissed on it.
Can't wait. XD
I genuinely believe this will do more harm than good for them. Not only does this make Xbox look more anti-competitive, but it's also going to hurt SE's reputation. This is the beginning of the back-lash. They want sales, not consumer back-lash.

Tomb Raider now, isn't what Tomb Raider meant back in the PSX days. Not sure why people are surprised anyway. Once upon a time, Square was exclusive with Final Fantasy to Nintendo. Then the backstabbing took place...
It means Square-Enix will lose money in the long run, unless they turnaround and port the game later on, just like other publishers have done with their respective Xbone exclusives. Even then, sales will probably suffer.
Exactly. Or at the very least, just wait for the inevitable PC version.
Can your goat scream though?

Silent Hill has definitely had it's moments where it got me good. One of my favorites was in the third one, when your reflection in a mirror stops moving. At that moment, I remembered feeling so uncomfortable and vulnerable.
