"Downplaying what exactly? 900p is better than 720 no? Ground Zeroes was 720p that's why its great that its gone up for the Xbox One.
Common sense..."
Yes, anyone with common sense would agree 900p is better than 720p. However, that does not negate the fact that they were unable to achieve 1080p with this game, like some other titles have, such as the upcoming Tomb Raider.
@Septic
"Glad its not 720p on the X1. That would suck"
Why the downplay? If it were 720p, would you say glad it's not 600p? It still sucks that it's 900p and not 1080p.
Looks like Phil's showing his true colors.

"Off the top of my head I can think of about 80 million reasons Microsoft would like an Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider."
As if there are anywhere near that many 360s that are still operational; but I get your point. However, as an Xbox 360 owner, this doesn't do much in persuading me to purchase an Xbone.
@TheCommentator
Thanks, I needed a good laugh!
Yes, that would be sweet. I also would love to see a new SF Rush game. Particularly, an new SF Rush 2049.
Pachter's a schmuck. If you're going to pay your respects to someone who just lost his life, you do it right. Many others in the industry could have chosen to add their criticism too, but most showed class and simply offered their sincere condolences.
Many people are so self centred, they just don't get it... Yes, you personally may not care about a specific feature. However, that does not negate the importance of the feature to others, many of which that are long time loyal fans. There are many Halo players that really enjoy and find useful a feature such as splitscreen. It became a defining mark for the franchise.
@Septic
Qualify this: As someone who used to own and manage a game store, I can tell you without a doubt that a great number of people purchased new 360s instead of repairs. In fact, many of which that bought several. Even most of my former Halo tourney partners bought several units instead of repairs.
One thing many of you seem to forget is that repaired units would often fail again. The Xbox warranty after repair would last the balance of your original warr...
Thought I'd chime in on this one. The Xbox 360 really was horrible. In 2010, I spent the summer fixing consoles for a friend's game shop. I kept records of all my repairs. I fixed just over 100 Xbox 360s. In that same amount of time, I fixed 3 PS3s and 0 Wii's.
The failure rate and inflation in console sales the Xbox 360 experienced is simply unacceptable.
Looks like sour grapes from some Xbox supporters. The fact is, Sony nailed it this gen, whether you agree or disagree. And in the end, it's forced the Xbox division to improve it's policies and become more focused on what matters most to gamers.
"Windows 10 streamed Sunset Overdrive at its full resolution"
Would have preferred to see it stream a 1080p Xbone game.
@metatronx
Every single Halo fan I know (including many I've been to tournaments with) purchased the Xbone by the time MCC came out.
I think it's more likely Tomb Raider will move more units this year than Halo 5 will.
@ Cupid_Viper_3 "so please, go play some apps".
LOL XD Amazing.
On topic: The PS4 is selling better because it's focus and value from the beginning has been on games.
My 2 cents on some of the comments above: An individual's taste on what platform he or she may prefer is subjective, yes. What's not subjective, is to say that the majority of console gamers on this planet prefer to game on PlayStation. That is fact, backed...
Yikes. So the only way the Xbone can compete with the PS4's sales in its home turf, is by selling at a reduced price and bundling it with plenty of freebies.
While that's not good for the brand's image, it's great news for gamers on a budget. So expect to see more of last year's types of bundles this year.
lol @ CallOfDutyFan. Can't believe you posted that pic... XD
On topic, a lot of these are really reaching.
I'm glad some exclusives from both Sony and Nintendo won (I:SS & SSB4).
Destiny also deserved some wins.
LOL.

Errr...okay? Your comment makes no sense because the fact that it didn't hit 1080p is obvious because...the game is running at 900p?
Where am I downplaying it? All I said was Im glad its not 720p and you accused me of downplaying its inferior resolution to the PS4? Ev...
