I'm thankful to have a brother I grew up playing video games with.
Animalia, I'm sure the number of PS3 purchasers who never played a single game on the machine is not even comparable to the millions of RRoD Xbox 360s which were replaced/repurchased.
I think the belief that the Genesis is inferior in sound, is not entirely true. For example, the Genesis is capable of 16bit PCM playback without any hardware modifications. There's several YouTube videos of people playing music from the cartridge if you want to see for yourself.
Agreed. At first I was like wow...But then I saw it was VGChartz. :/
For me, DS4. I'll take the symmetrically placed 10-bit precision sticks in the DS4 anyday over the asymmetrically placed 8-bit precision sticks used in the Xbox's controller.
Ah the disagrees... Apparently those 3 games I mentioned are not also available on the PC.
And with that combo you can still play Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Titanfall.
@SCB I agree that Quantun Break definitely has the potential. But it also has the potential to release on the PC, like Alan Wake did. And while I can't speak for others, that's enough for me to wait and see.
If I buy QB, it'll be for the campaign. Alan Wake was superb and I'm hoping QB is just as good, if not better.
@UsernameIsNotTaken
I think it's probably because there are some in this camp that are very sensitive and may think you're trying to downplay this game for not having MP.
Fortunately many of us have learned to read between the lines. It's just a shame that they keep coming up with new and clever ways of boasting without giving out the details to show where things really stand.
Thanks for the link. It made it clearer for me to see many of the low-res textures used in the environments.
I say vote with your wallets people.
The days when Sega wouldn't stop mething around.
I couldn't agree more. Well said.
Internet Explorer by any other name is still Internet Explorer.
@343_Guilty_Spark
Something makes me think your comment was a little less than genuine...
But I agree with Kaz. They're unparalleled at the moment, as this push for VR tech on PS4 is a big undertaking and has to be done right in order to be successful.
I'm glad they were caught. Hopefully, this discourages this sort of practice from happening again.
I very much enjoyed Alan Wake, so I think Quantum Break will be very well done. I quite like the idea of implementing the live action sequences. It's nice when games try something new and creative like this. Hopefully this too will get a PC release later on.
I need to play more Tetris then.
"I'm guessing you didn't take "Common Sense 101" in high school huh?"
If you felt the need to take such a class, I think that would say a whole lot more about you.
OT: While I wasn't expecting a huge success for TR, those numbers are very poor given all the attention the game received.
