Never cared for timers in the games, so glad to see that its been removed.
Excellent post. F*** the "all cloud future".
I recently purchased a PC-ENGINE Core Grafx, and Turbo Everdrive Pro to play its entire library. Give me that over modern cloud trash any day.
He doesn't care about preservation of his own work. Just wants more crack of the whip on his back from his corporate overlords. Yikes.
I've been playing a lot of PS3 lately because my friend wanted to do Resident Evil 5 online co-op full story and DLC chapters with me. Its been a fun time, and I wish more PS3 games were still online, though I do know some fan servers have brought back a few games.
Now you're exhausted by all the live service junk?
I've been sick of that shit right when it first started.
Better late than never, welcome to the club.
Heard it all before a decade ago.
I read that the larger a micro SD card is, the quicker that all those read and write cycles can kill it. Maybe its true, maybe its not, but its something to keep in mind.
I didn't play 13 until many years after its release, sometime around 2016. By then I had read for years about how bad it was, but damn did I end up loving it! The dialog was kind of lame, reading data logs was a chore, so I didn't do it, and the ending went too crazy DBZ style, but I still had a good time with it. Spent nearly 120 hours to get the Platinum Trophy, and the battle gameplay really opens up at the end with the extra boss battles.
I'm the opposite of...
And that's why the modern industry is garbage. Gamers with no standards keep buying junk and publishers are laughing all the way to the bank.
A--accomplishments? Really? All they've accomplished is drive me even further away from them with uninteresting games, buying up the industry, and reminding me why digital rental services have no value to me.
But sure, let's kiss the trillion dollar company's ass, and call that an "accomplishment". 🙄
Glad to hear Kotick is finally leaving, but the fact that he got away with his crimes is horrible. The prick should be locked up in solitary.
All they had to do was make a basic online mode like their previous games. Instead they wanted more money and choose to go live service which makes games worse in my opinion.
What a waste of time and money, what a shame.
Reminds me of what happened with Half-Life 2. This is unfair for the developers, they're already working non-stop and now they have so much more to stress over.
A Venom game would be a nice change of pace from playing as The Spider-Men duo.
OK, someone send in an e-mail about Gravity Rush 1 & 2 collection, Folklore, Puppeteer, and other PS3 era games.
"The clues in the name mate"
😂 Thanks for the laugh! 🤣
The TOS find has nothing to do with us gamers, it's for large re-sellers, and most likely legal fluff jargon, that may even be unenforceable.
I remember in Crash Bandicoot 2, if you struggled on a level, when you respawned you'd be given an AkuAku mask, giving you an extra hit, making the game slightly easier. I actually appreciated this feature, because some areas of the game were tough. However, this feature couldn't be turned OFF! And so I hope that whatever Sony is doing here, the functions of scaling the difficulty can be turned OFF!
Kotaku writing a garbage, ignorant, moronic, useless article with a horrible take? Color me surprised!
What Microsoft tried to do back in 2013 was unacceptable, and they thoroughly deserved the sales beatdown that they received. After this humiliating defeat, they should have focused on what matters, high quality first party games. But instead, what did they do? Focused on services, exactly the kind of thing I don't care about.
With all their infinite...
Even if they did un-do the ban it should have never happened in the first place.
Microsoft are the leaders in accidentally banning people because of their own poor software programming or idiotic rule set, then walking it back later.
Just like they did with Dev mode bans, then saying it was an accident. Don't let things like that ever happen.
