Very interesting, do you know the names of these adult films that Nintendo owns?
According to fans this was a let down. If you still have a CRT play the Saturn English fan translation, its the best way to play. The developers were told in advance that the visuals looked terrible for Grandia 1 'HD' and they didn't listen. They kept the awful blur filter.
Apparently Grandia 2 'HD' is good though.
Stop buying games day one. Wait weeks or even months after release, and stop being surprised when publishers do scummy business practices.
I'd like to see a reboot for the franchise, a fresh start, not clinging onto the past with the same story and characters. But I don't have any faith in Konami to do it right. I'd like to be wrong, though!
Maybe they could do both like CAPCOM has done with Resident Evil. They're doing remakes and new games simultaneously.
The founder of Limited Run Games bought the rights to the game, why would you think Nintendo would want to own this pervy visual novel? Unless if its sarcasm and I didn't pick up on it.
Lame article, he even got the title Kakuto Chojin wrong. Most of the stuff featured isn't even that bad.
The menu screen? Wow, way to go, Konami! 🙄
The GBA remake deserves it or Super Metroid, the original was a very sloppy and rushed game programmed in 3 months and it shows.
If you've never played the remake, it's absolutely a must play, fixes basically every flaw in the game. Check out ExoParadigmGamer's comparison video.
A good Stranger Things type of game, but the devs screwed themselves over by going for a Google Stadia exclusive for many years.
The game is short but worth a play, cleared it 5 times, I'd be interested if there was a physical collector's edition.
For big budget 3D extravaganza games, its time to move on from them. But for lower budget indie games or sprite art games, they're still good for that.
What we should have gotten was the full remake that leaked, and is only accessible to Xbox 360 owners who have their consoles modded. Modern controls fixes the games biggest flaw.
Yeah for cosmetics, but I'm talking about something different, cheat menus features are not cosmetics.
At least the game will still boot in offline mode.
Honestly game developers should intentionally add cool cheat menus and debug menus for single player games. Games from the past were loaded with secrets and cheats, these days developers seem to hate silly or fun additions like that.
I can save even more money if I don't buy it at all. 🤔
Only if they're good, if its going to be a 2D sprite art game, you can get away with a small team and small budget. But if you're going to make it a 3D polygonal game, you're going to need a large team with a large budget, and often times these licensed games are quickly pushed out the door, unpolished, rough, boring, bland, snorefest at best, and downright broken at worst.
We have an Indiana Jones and James Bond game currently being developed by two veteran tea...
Awful to hear, his work made millions of people happy throughout the years. He goes out as a legend!
My favorite game in the series! I haven't played RE6 or beyond, though.
I've played through this game 8 or 9 times solo, and then late last year I re-played it again with my friend online CO-OP and it was so much fun. This game is the very epitome of replay value, a game I want to go back and play again every few years because its simply fun without all the copy & paste bloat and grind of modern games.
I wish we had more games like RE5! I know...
EA doesn't want to lose their title of worst gaming company ever, always trying their best to remain the champs!
What's sad is that they have so much potential to be a decent publisher.
SSX Tricky / SSX 3
Def Jam Vendetta / Fight for New York
NBA Street
NFL Steet
Mirror's Edge
Bad Company
Burnout 3 / 4 / 5
Remember when EA used to be awesome? It's all over with now. Unpolished,...
A Sega Saturn game called Phantasm came on 8 CDs! Yes, eight CDs! 😮
Riven and Tokimeki Memorial 2 came on 5 CDs for PS1.
Actually its the opposite, buying the games, and not buying the micro-trash-actions only makes things worse. Adding micro-trash-actions is trivial, doesn't take time, whether they are purchased or not doesn't affect the publisher. Whether the game is purchased or not will in fact affect the publisher.
Keep making the industry worse for everyone, including yourself. Thanks.
