They are absolutely decimating MS at the EB games where I work we have 325 ps4 preorders and only 52 xbox ones.
Since Microsoft is so awesome where are the 360 games? Games like The Last of Us? 360 had all the exclusives and now has NO support and somehow MS is gonna offer more exclusives this time around? Yeah it won't last.
It's funny how MS fans keep saying that ps4 only has indies like there should be any doubt Sony won't have AAA game/exclusives. Just look at how many exclusives ps3 has this year and how 360 has almost none those will come with time; having a bunch of Indies just rounds out and compliments those big budget games. There are so many great indie games I have enjoyed, like Journey, Flower, Castle Crashers, Braid, Limbo and more I can't remember off the top of my head. Really lookin...

Yeah no point in talking about how bad they are losing in preorders they should just focus on positives. If they had good numbers they'd be talking about it plain and simple. My store has 302 ps4 preorders and only 44 xbox ones, not single store out of 9 in my city has over 50 units whereas ps4 numbers are over 150 per store (over 100 system preorders are unheard of till ps4 came along). They only just recently opened preorders again for us. My store now has a whopping 44 xbox ones presold. Too bad for them ps4 preorders in my store are 302 units. So yeah in Canada at least I can confirm that EB/Gamestop it's getting ridiculous how skewed it is. 100 preorders would be unheard of for most stores, ps4 moved into ridiculous amounts for our stores like 3 months ago where all our stores passed that amount and it just keeps going.
Except Sony is launching in 32 countries and MS is only releasing in 13. I work at EB and we have never seen numbers like we are seeing from PS4 preorders. Sony makes more new IP's then Microsoft. You claim that westerners aren't all dumb FPS gamers, but, COD and BF continue to sell millions of units along with Dead Island, Halo and Gears.
As for Launch IP's, yeah it's easy to say that considering how few 360 exclusives there are it's nice to have Xbox One with those previously 360 exclusives to play. Where as PS3 and Sony keep on adding new exclusives regularly with new IP's ...

Hatdcore gamers spend way more money then the casual crowd so I don't see how that helps your arguement. Casual gamers buying 10 million kinect didn't even help 360.
You mention fatigue for Uncharted and God Of War, then how about the multiple Fable, Forza, Halo and Gears games?
Halo 5 is coming out next year and that's what 6 games in 8 years? (Halo 3, Halo ODST, Halo Wars, Halo 4, Halo Anniversary edition). 4 Gears games, and 3 fable games, 5 Forza games?
Yeah don't forget HDMI wasn't needed for HD gaming, neither was bluray (yet now they have bluray) and remember PS3 was only good as a media center yet now Xbox One wants to be the media center for your home.....
So The Last of Us didn't look good because of the PS3's power?! Then what on the 360 compares then? By that reasoning 360 games could be made better with simple attention to detail and design then. So where's the game that is just as good as The Last Of Us then? Surely after 7 years 360 has something that looks and plays just as good?

Exactly they are just bending the truth. Like when they said Xbox One was selling out everywhere I had a good laugh, my store 'sold out' at 30 whole units when I had close to 200 preorders for ps4 already (currently 325 ps4 preorders vs. 52 xbox one preorders.)
