Sony hasn't really had any major issues with overheating like MS RROD so doubt it'll be an issue. Also yeah it is sad that fans made that whole Toys R Us blow up. Whatever it's pretty clear PS4 is going to decimate competition this Christmas regardless of which list it's on or not it will be on the only list that matters and that's topsellers list on every major retailers list this year.
It also isn't in a nonventilated plastic casing though so your comparison makes no sense.
Really my launch PS3 plays the same as the day I bought it. Your fears for overheating PS4 seems sensationalist and a bit absurd. Don't see how this is even a problem, have you actually seen the display? They're not ventilated. Maybe if we were talking about the One and MS which have had RROD on previous generation then maybe you having concerns would make a bit of sense at least.
They also have Puppeteer, Kingdom Hearts HD, Guided Fate Paradox, Disgaea D2, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, Beyond for the fall and 2 dozen others releases this year so yeah nice try on the trolling.
So by your logic less games is a good thing? Guess those exclusives that xbone are releasing don't mean anything at all? I thought buying a system with a rich and diverse game library was good guess that's a silly idea. To be fair to us game stores the displays are setup by Sony, MS and Nintendo and are their property. We just let them display them is all.
Pretty sure Sony wants to sell 5 million by end of their fiscal year in March. 5 million in 4 1/2 months is definitely possible. Their preorders in my store are ridiculously high.

Based on price though which is a big point for a lot of people I don't understand MS pricing. Weren't the newest 360 slims cheap to produce? Why aren't they pricing it accordingly?
$299.99 and $399.99 xbox 360 bundle versus 500 gb ps3 with GTA V bundled for $269.99?
I wouldn't buy a system for a tv show, I'd just wait for a bluray or dvd release and just buy it.
They have about 22 million people 1/3 of U.K. population. All markets are important. So I don't know how you get 1 million.
Yeah at the EB where I work we have 345 PS4 preorders and only 72 XBOX One preorders. My store traditionally is more xbox fans and now it's flipped. It took us over 3 months to sell my small allotment of 40 day one xbox and I mean we actually had to sell them, PS4 sell themselves. The numbers we have seen are unheard of. All 9 stores in my city have over 200 PS4 preorders per store on average and about 40-45 xbox ones per store.
It's not just the first game and dlc, it also includes the 3ds Mirror of fate game in HD. So it's 2 full games and dlc. Plus Mirror of Fate leads into Lords Of Shadow 2.

I was assistant manager for over 3 years at my EB games and yeah Canada as a whole is 3-1 or 4-1 based on our companies numbers. I've asked my friends at Best Buy/ Futureshop and they haven't had much preorders for Xbox One.
I can tell you guys that we've never seen numbers like we have seen for PS4, up till these preorders started we have NEVER had close to 100 preorders for any systems at any of the 9 stores in my city and now all of a sudden all of our store...
To be fair Fuse sucked pretty hard so yeah if they continue the way they do then multiplatform or not garbage games are terrible anyway you slice it. So yeah I'll start caring about Insomniac releases something amazing.
My EB games store where I work (in Canada) has 325 PS4 preorders and 52 Xbox ones and it's not even close. These numbers is literally unheard of. All the 9 stores in my city have PS4 just decimating Xbox One. It's 4-1 or 3-1 currently across Canada.
Yeah same company. My manager just came back from the expo and he's getting a ridiculous amount of free stuff this fall. He did say the PS4 controller was very awesome and a major improvement compared to the xbox one controller which he said was pretty much a 360 controller. Apparently the PS4 camera is very small and Sony said you will be able to navigate the menu with it like kinect and will also feature voice commands.
Seriously in Canada we have our used copies which show up very rarely for $44.99 I don't understand how Gamestop (same company as my EB Games) could have those kind of ridiculous prices. Although I did see recently at my walmart they have Sin and Punishment 2 for the Wii priced at $67?! When we sold our last stock for $4.99.
