Exactly even if both xbox one and PS4 sold 1 million units a month till 2013 there would still only be 45-50 millions units combined. By that time the 360 and PS3 will have over 200 million units out there. No company in their right mind would look at an audience of 200 million people and not make games for that group.

My store sold over 400 PS4 since launch and only 60 X1 and both are 'sold out' so yeah the comment by MS that they sold every unit has no meaning since there isn't a figure to give it relevance. If they know they sold out and they know how many they made the real question is why they won't tell us a number; logic suggest their numbers don't favour them or aren't close.
Hey people can believe what they want, but, they said the same thing during the summer when they said they were sold out on preorders. When they stopped my stores preorders we had about 40 whereas my PS4 preorders were close to 300 at that point.
MS would just tell us the numbers if they were good, you really think if their numbers were good they wouldn't just blast it out there to show up Sony? Why would they allow free reign to say we sold X amount unhindered? Becau...
New IP instead of pre-existing Mario, Zelda etc would be nice. If they are going to go back to their IP's then I honestly think it's time they did a Pokemon Z game and sell it with another tablet so you can have battles together with friends. They should also have exclusive pokemon if you own X or Y and link them.
I work at a EB games (1 of top 3 sales in Canada during black friday) and worked all weekend as well and we turned away so many people and fielded so many phone calls about PS4 it wasn't funny. We still have preorders we're waiting on Sony to fill too. Our Xbox Ones had really low numbers and MS hasn't even filled our remaining orders yet and it's a small amount too. If my store had a couple hundred PS4 we would have sold them all. I even went to Best Buy across the street...
That is skewed math and also Canada has over 34 million people and U.S. has 340 million so total is 374 million for NA. So yeah maybe learn to add first before calculating stuff.
No stores had PS4, the only reason Bestbuys had them was because some customers ordered and they didn't pick up and were put up for sale. They got small shipment of Xbox One.
They have the order and pickup in store so check store availability purchase and pick it up. Best Buy has this purchase method advertised and Futureshop has had the same thing for awhile now as well. Maybe easier then getting them in store.
Yeah after MS lied about RROD and wanted to tell you that DRM restrictions are awesome! Yeah pinnacle of truth right there. Sony's recent consoles have had very low failure rates so yeah your reasoning is terrible, trying to make it sound like it's some double standard except facts backup Sony not MS.
Tonnes more. My store sold well over 200+ ps4's and we turned a whole slew of people away. It's ridiculous! Our store doesn't even have walkin ones till we finish our preorders. We sent all our walkins to Best Buy, Futureshop, Walmart and Target. Our xbox one allotment is only 1/4 of my ps4 first shipment so I am interested how they plan to compete.
Not passing it off as fact just saying I base my comment off actual numbers. What numbers are you pulling to prove otherwise? Could be reasons you came up with mean nothing. All your speculation actually means something if you have facts which you don't. Also I will give you another actual fact EB/ Gamestop our small subsection is NOT small, our company have HALF of ALL PS4 units in Canada. We also have more than 10% of Sony units sold.
Based on what numbers? There isn't enough evidence to support these claims. My store has sold over 200 ps4's already and we had a whopping 2 come back with issues. In fact our 9 stores combined have sold over 1000 units and not even a dozen have come back. I work at EB games so my basis is off actual numbers, so yeah I would say it's sensationalist BS for hits.
