Exactly, being sold out, but, not telling you how many unit's is the oldest trick in the book. Trying to change perceptions by getting people to say it's sold out so it's doing well means absolutely nothing. Case in point my store SOLD OUT at 40 units total for my store which sounds awesome till you compare that my PS4 preorders are at 276 units.

Difference is we 'sold out'at xbox one 40 units and across Canada we average 35-40 per store and ps4 we avg 150 per store and Sony is keeping preorders open. It took us 3 months to sellout of 40 xbox ones and in 3 weeks they closed orders we sold 45 ps4. The volumes are way off.
A lot of my customers have switched and taken friends with them. My store has 276 ps4 preorders and we got capped at 40 xbox ones. Even if I did have xbox one units we would need weeks to move a dozen units.
Well my EB where I work has 276 ps4 preorders and a whopping 40 xbox ones preordered. Since MS stopped our preorders we moved 45 ps4's. If it is anything like 360 now they will start out good then drop off support. Just look at the lack of exclusives 360 has this year and how many there are on ps3.
Well my point is still they've always had more money and if your using logic as you say and is consistent with what your claiming then where exactly are these games? If they have such vast resources then wouldn't supporting their 360fans benefit them and help to push them towards and eventual xbox one purchase? MS always had more money, hasn't stopped them from supporting 80 million 360 owners who currently have nothing to play and into the fall only have Fable HD to look forward to.

I think it would be great for sales to launch the same day then our midnight launch will be that much greater. I find that customers that come out to our midnight launches tend to go pretty well and customers are generally very nice to eachother. Really? Sony fans are gamers. We're playing a couple dozen exclusives this year and not just indies. What are 360 fans playing? ! Gears Judgement, Fable HD, and Dark. Seriously? Sold out at retail isn't difficult, the stock we're getting is so pathetically low. Also 2-1 is only the U.S. Last I checked that is ONE country. The rest of the world might not hate MS, but, only country outside U.S. that actually outsold Sony was the U.K. where they are currently losing as well. Also Sony is releasing in 32 countries vs. The paltry 13 that MS is releasing.

They inched up 20 units in my store, except in the time we sold those 20 units we sold 120+ PS4's.
Launch titles aren't enough for me, don't know why everyone is expecting them to be the best games. I'm pretty sure I can wait for Naught Dog and other first party to reveal their awesome titles.
I read it and actually if you read the original official information page the 2nd last line said you would NOT have the right to take part in class action lawsuits against the MS corporation. So yeah they were prepared for possible lawsuits.
