If they released a collection I would jump on it. My only sole complaint was that they didn't do new maps in Resistance 2. If they had updated with new maps, enemies, abilities I would have continued to do co-op. It was one of the most fun MP games I played on PS3.
I also own a huge library of games then add on free games every month and paying for another service is just giving free money. The idea that I could pay $120 a year for something I end up not owning makes little sense. I could buy the 5-6 options I really like on sales throughout the year and benefit from actually owning the games.
You would think that an article that is basing their argument on sales being great to prove that Xpass and GaaS don't affect sales would NEED numbers to back up their claim wouldn't they. Because you know logic and all.
Tales of Vesparia you mean. It also got released on PS3 in Japan with extra content. Enchanted Arms and many other 360 JRPGs eventually got released on PS3 as well at later dates.
Last year they had Code Vein and DBZ Fighterz at their show. This year will be more multiplats as well. Why would a Japanese developer ignore the huge PS4 crowd for Xbox?! They know where their games sell and the vast majority will be PS4. There's a reason games like Kingdom Hearts HD collection, Dragon Quest don't release on Xbox simply they wouldn't be profitable.
Bluepoint didn't make the game though. Remastering the games does NOT change the facts. They didn't develop the game at all. The ground work is completely from Naughty Dog. So your telling me if a outside studio made an Xbox game into 4K that they're now a 'developer'?! You clearly have no idea what developing games entails. Its an absolutely idiotic argument. Next you'll tell me if Disney hired a company to make a 4K version of one of their movies that its no l...
Has the lack of power stopped Nintendo from destroying Xbox in sales? NOPE. You know what's selling the Switch? GAMES. I know its a novel concept, but, GAMES actually do sell GAME consoles. 4K bluray and games can't even stop Nintendo and you think they have a chance against Sony? The most 'powerful' console isn't helping them right now is it? Sales are up, but, when your sales drop so low you can only talk about 'engagement' numbers you know its bad.
You call the lack of games and 'more focus' making strides? Its year 5 right now and if you include when Sony started making their moves its 15 years since the 360 began that Sony built what they have now. You think MS is magically just going to find some studios to purchase and games will start coming from nowhere? No it takes focus and time to develop the culture required for that to happen. Go look at Sony and Nintendos slate. Its no comparison.
@Commentator
" Things like putting the enhanced achievement system on hold, Playground working on a new game, and Perfect Dark secretly having been worked on alongside Sea of Thieves (and likely to release within 12 months). Phil wants more single player IP, a stronger and more diverse library of games, and to keep from announcing games too early. "
So your defence is a couple of rumoured games?! You make fun of GoW then mention garbage like So...
So you're going to give MS a free pass? What were they doing while Sony were making games and developing their studios?! This isn't just year 5 of this gen its year 15 since the 360 era. How many more years do you want to give them? Is 15 years not enough time to develop studios and games? They puff out their chest and say they put out a billion dollars into games apparently. Where are the games?!
" I just like accuracy and facts. And Naughty Dog acted as consultants with the remasters. They didn't do any active development.
As far as JAPAN Studio goes, that's the first I've heard of their involvement. But apparently they were involved, fair enough."
Naughty Dog made the original games though. Hiring a 3rd party to remaster doesn't change that. FACT. Active development does not change that Naughty Dog made the games. ...

Coproduction by Sony Japan and From Software. Notice they specifically say collaboration.
Everyones got their own list. My list mirrors your own minus Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade 2.
I thought features sold systems. GAMES selling GAME systems?! Who knew that? Learn something new everyday. S/
Did you say Mech? I agree. Can't wait for Zone Of Enders and Ace Combat. Surprised their isn't a Gundam game for PSVR
The actual rumour suggest the new Perfect Dark would be 3rd person view. Seems like a departure.
Its kind of funny that Xbox fans seem to think the games are coming and its no big deal. Sony invested during the PS3 into their studios and strategic purchases like Suckerpunch and Media Molecule and invested not just money, but, time. Xbox has done what in 15 years since the 360?! Year 5 Xbox has FEWER games than the Switch in Year 2! Do they think its a fluke Nintendo has more games in less time? No Nintendo like Sony has been investing their resources and time to make games and roll ...
@Lennox
Why would Sony even need their own game to feature at Esports? They have 3rd party partners for that. COD and SFV are all played on PS4 for tournaments. If you look at EVO which is the biggest tournament for fighting games the vast majority of their games are played on PS4 too. King of Fighters, Blazblue, DBZ Fighterz, Mortal Kombat, Tekken 7, SFV, Ultimate MVC all are played on PS4 at tournament. So will Soul Calibur VI and Blazblue Cross battle.
The way I see it is even if your cheap and budget for the price of Xpass you can own 4-5 games instead. Like the say sometimes less is more. Having 'more' options isn't always better. Even at a buffet theirs a limit to how much you can eat. I'd rather have a really good experience a couple times then a bunch of average ones all the time.
I'd rather own my games then rent them.
Pretty unlikely. Why would Sega sell one of the most popular franchises like Persona when they just bought Atlus 2 years ago? They also have exclusive Shin Megami games on the 3DS and a new one headed to the Switch.
