Uhhh wtf? Sony makes everything GT is a sports racer not a QTE, PSVR games? MLB the show, Ratchet and Clank, Gravity Rush 1 and 2, Tearaway, LBP, Dreams, Infamous, Killzone, Horizon Zero Dawn? There's a reason PS4 games regularly trounce Xbox ones both in sales and metacritic. Regardless of the seasons aligning properly does not change a valid point. What foes Nintendo have that can compete with COD, Red Dead 2 and other upcoming juggernauts like Cyberpunk etc.

Its doubtful a Japanese studio would want to become a part of MS because there is no market for their games on Xbox. Its desth to the studio by default if they lose their biggest market.
2 teams doesn't equate to 2 studios. Naughty Dog, Guerilla, Insomniacs for example all have multiple teams working projects and are still a single studio.
