Just like MS came through when they said years ago that thry would support Kinect? That Cloud was a thing? That there was $2 billion being spent on games? That they would rather have exclusives instead of timed content? The one that canceled Phantomdust and Scalebound? Closed multiple studios? Thats the Xbox you think doesn't need to have the BUT?
Its not about number of studios its the talent involved. When is the last time Xbox released a game of the calibre of TLOU, GoW, Uncharted 4 or Horizon Zero Dawn even? I honestly can't think of any Xbox exclusive in the last decade that even compares.
I work at the busiest EB/Gamestop in my city and the X is doing well, but, its not blowing the Pro away by any means. In fact the Pro has much more leeway to drop prices for sales and the X has only ever had 1 price drop. I still get calls about our sold out God of War Pro bundles regularly.
PSVR has been selling extremely well since its become much more adfordable. We sell out when we have our sales since the PSVR sells for half the price of what it used to cost.

You know what else I find ironic? That these Japanese games showing up at their presentation is a sign of 'change'...... Wtf? How is this anything different? Daemon x Machina is being made by the guy who made Armor Core 2 and 3 I think and some Front Mission games and Shoji Kawamori legendary mech designer is designing the mechs. Looks pretty awesome.
Lets see MLB 18 broke a franchise launch sales record, followed by GoW smashing all kinds of records on PS4 and Detroit has over a million sales after 2 weeks. I'm thinking there will be a slow build up over the next 8 months and it will do more than okay.
