Considering PS4 exclusives are already off to a hot start with GoW, Detroit and MLB 18 setting a franchise 1st month sales and they've hit 80 million units sold while Xbox has what 30 million units sold? PS4 is in their 3rd lap and will hit 100 million before Xbox even hits 50 I would say they're doing more than fine even with a 'step back'.
Yeah its terrible Sony fans ONLY are getting the best exclusives this year rolling into the next and almost all of the games shown at the Xbox conference as well. Ah well.....s/

I agree it depends on your taste in games. The kind of games I like are on PS4 and Switch mainly which aren't the types of games on Gamepass. The price is good, but, its actually cheaper for me to just buy the 1 or 2 games I want outright than to pay for a pass for a year and in the end I own the game.
People who have passion also continue working beyond retirement.

I didn't miss your point. My point was my Xbox sees little use. Considering almost all the games are on the PS4 and quality of Xbox exclusives is so bad its not really a good option for me. PS4 and my Switch have far better exclusives and none of my friends even game on Xbox so we play multiplayer games on PS4. Other than Ori, more Cuphead and probably Gears I don't see much use for my Xbox. But yeah Xbox does have exclusives, if any of them were good I'd probably care more. ...
Meh my Xbox is good for watching movies. Glad Cuphead is getting an expansion and Gears 5 looks good. But nothing at Xbox compares to any of the main titles from Sonys conference.
Playstation channel has a lot of games being confirmed as well. More games and trailers announced too.
Also I would recommend you go to the Playstation page on youtube. Their E3 announcements are continuing and they're showing more exclusive Japanese PS4 games and new games + indies in general.

I think with games like Code Vein showing up at the MS conference was a sign we would see more than usual. Remember their trying to change peoples view that they don't have Japanese support.
As for Tales of Vesperia MS paid for exclusivity last gen and even kept the PS3 version with extra content from ever hittin...

I understand that. Its just that its a Hideo Kojima game so asking for it to 'make sense' might be a bit much. Also the game isn't dated for release yet and it seems its a series of trailers he's releasing. There is Paris Game Show, Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show and Sonys own Playstation Experience still to come this year. Plenty of time to show more.
What I don't get is how everyone wants the whole story and all the big gameplay elements ruined for themselves instead of just playing the game and interpreting themselves. Its like watching 5 trailers for that movie you want to watch only to have all the best moments and premise completely ruined by the trailers. I would rather the trailers be confusing and entice me to want to play and figure out what is going on when I play the game.
My theory was that they're in Limbo. Between life and death. Stranded that is. Especially if you actually look up the term Death Stranding and Live Stranding. The Whales kind seemed like a clue in the original trailer.
