Nier Automata seems like an exception though.
They just announced 2 other games not on Xbox in Fallen Babylon and The Quiet Man. Then just look at the huge list of games on PS4 with no Xbox releases, FF X/X-2, FF XII, FF XIV, KH collection, DQ Heroes 1 and 2, DQ Builders 1 and 2, World of Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, DQ 11, FF Dissidia, Secret of Mana, Left Alive etc.
You might want to go back and check again. Last I checked PS4 and heck even the Switch still have far more exclusives. Still the main issue about games being exclusive to PS4 has to do with awful sales on Xbox. This game probably won't even sell 500,000 on Xbox. Most games will still be released on PS4 or Switch as exclusives because Xbox gamers just don't support these games.
Its not like Xbox owners will buy it though.
Woo Japanese games? Not sure about that. Most of those games would have come to Xbox anyways. I struggle to see any I would say surprised me showing up on Xbox.
Its hard to focus on exclusives when your studios are locked into franchises. Gears, Halo, Forza, Forza Horizon studios only make those games. Sure Playground is making Fable and Ninja Theory was a nice pick up though, but, most of Xbox studios hardly stray from their narrow path.
To be fair Ford did announce they are stopping making cars. They only will be making SUVs and trucks going forward
Its year 5 though when were these games coming? Year 7-8? Because if thats the case we all know MS will just delay those games and make them launch games for their next system just like those 360 games that became Xbox One Launch games.
As for Japanese studios not making games for Xbox? There are a bunch. DBZ Fighterz, Dark Souls, Code Vein for example. If its not releasing on Xbox its just not a good investment for the companies in question. There's no point in t...
If you want to see 3rd party 'exclusives' and even 1st party that didn't deliver for real you should check out the Xbox One 2017 did they keep their promises for E3.
To be fair it never got released here for the PS3 so a PS4 port wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea.
MLB 18
Metacritic 82
Thats down 80% from its peak and 50% from their average from people who already bought PUBG. That seems pretty significant.
Would anyone even believe 'hard' dates from MS?
SoT was delayed
Crackdown 3 has been delayed
Recore was delayed
Phantomdust was delayed then canceled
Scalebound was delayed then canceled
Fable Legend was delayed then canceled as well
Quantum Break was delayed
Cuphead was delayed
Below is still delayed
Even better yet. Premier launch trailers!
Why would you want GAMES for a GAME CONSOLE?! s/
@Wonderfulmonkeyman
" Shovel Knight, Yooka-Laylee, Enter the Gungeon, and quite a few others. "
Kind of proving my point here. None of these compare to 15-20 million sellers like COD, Red Dead, GTA, Battlefield, Overwatch etc. Don't get me wrong I own a Switch and enjoy Shovel Knight Owlboy, Splatoon, but, none of the indie games or smaller 1st party stuff compares and not having to compete with the big AAA stuff is a benefit to them.
I predict some exclusive premier launch trailers again.
Nintendo never has to compete with Call of Duty, Overwatch, GTA, Red Dead so yeah it definitely makes it easier. If not for that what 3rd party games really are a draw on the Switch?!
" We have gotten nothing from Capcom, not even the occasional rumor of Deep Down still be in production. "
Tecmo Koei said nothing for the better part of a decade and the game turned out awesome. Regardless of whether you think the environments were 'bland' it was and still is a extremely well regarded game.
Yep just like Nioh turned out awesome after being announced as a PS3 exclusive in 2005. It could happen now that Capcom made all that money on Monster Hunter World.
@Heisenberg
Maybe you should stop pretending you played the game? Or your an oblivious idiot. Seriously Ellie was established to be gay in part 1 so pretending that its something new is downright stupid.
