What you want to do is play the main missions. Skip the side missions. The main missions are good. The side missions are terrible.
Agree 100%. I played The Last of Us Part II and Control Ultimate Edition on PS5 at 30fps. Both games have slow moving protagonists and 30fps looked fine.
Xbox Live has 90M subscribers. Xbox Live Gold does not. PS4 had an install base of 114M consoles and about 47M PS+ subscribers. Xbox players aren’t any different and with an Xbox One install base of about 50M Xbox Live Gold probably has 20-25M subscribers. Microsoft is looking at the 15M GamePass subscribers and seeing a path to turn them and the Xbox Live Gold subscribers into GamePass Ultimate subscribers. There is no place for Game with Gold in Xbox’s future.
The scalpers are gaming the system to increase the price to the detriment of consumers. This is no different than the asswads who bought up Lysol Wipes and n95 masks back in March. The stores don’t care because they get their money either way. Sony should care, because if someone has to buy a PS5 for a $400 markup, that’s $400 less they will have to spend on games.
I actually own that game. It is fun but looks super dated for a remaster.

Games sell so more copies now than they did in the 80s and 90s that it more than makes up for the cost of development. This isn’t about survival of the industry. It’s purely for profit.

Will you really pay $70 for games? I won’t. They might get away with this during a new console launch but long term this only works if people are willing to pay more.
Right of the gate you get a free game and two if you pay for PS+. Later in the year you get Ratchet&Clank, GT, Horizon Forbidden West, and God of War. The next 12 months are basically amazing for PS5 owners

Just being honest, most games aren’t worth full price. That’s why I buy 99% of my games at a discount. Miles Morales is also one of the first games with the $10 next gen up charge. I don’t like it and I don’t plan to pay it. There will be deals eventually.
But when you replace the internal drive, how do you load the firmware? Sony has a process for this and a site to download the firmware.
Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the best games of all time. Once you leave the starting area, you can go anywhere and learn how to take over robot animals at your own pace or not at all. There is no level gating and not one way to fight the robot animals or the humans. And like The Witcher 3, each quest felt fully fleshed out.
The apologetic tone of the industry pieces about Outriders is a good indication that this game will die a quick death.
