That second little stick will be equivalent to having a circle pad pro right? So Metal Gear Solid 3 will be nicer to play on this compared to the old 3DS. I don't suppose that game would run any better on this new model too? I've read the framerate gets pretty bad.
I'm literally playing FFVII right now for the first time. I'm on disc 2 heading back to the reactor in Corel to find the huge materia. Good times.
They put the MGS collection at no 1, but Kojima is already teasing another MGS collection, presumably for current gen consoles, which would make the ps3 collection irrelevant.

You're creating problems in your head that aren't there. Nobody actually talks or cares about those things in scenario 2. Gaming is what you make of it; all you need to worry about is whether the games you're looking forward to turn out fun.
I haven't followed this at all but wasn't it already known that gaming journalism was corrupt? Is this incident any more of a revelation then say the Gerstmann scandal several years back?

Anything by Naughty Doge - wow
The Souls franchise - raw rewarding gameplay
MGS4 - I riked it
Skyward Sword - the motion controls were mostly great, as was the art.

Ah, Seiken Densetsu 3 was amazing. It was the game that made me discover emulators. I knew I had to play it after finishing Secret Of Mana.
Now we're talkin! Rise Of Mana always looked too good to be just an iOS game. I would have thought the 3DS would be an obvious choice for it, but then again this is Square Enix we're dealing with here.
I don't even know if the game is any good, but I'm just happy to see that the Mana series isn't completely dead yet.
Here's some advice Square Enix - whatever instinct you have about how to handle any of your games, do the opposite.
If it happened, Nintendo should allow Capcom to finish Deep Down for PS4.
