"You will not stand in the way of destiny!"
"DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE" ;
What a £$%&
I don't think it should have any!
Here me out here, one of the first things I did with My shiny new PS3 was change the HDD. I still have that old drive collecting dust somewhere. Wouldn't it make more sense to have at least one bundle with no drive at all at a cheaper price then you can buy whatever size and make you like?
If it comes with AR glasses and Kinect 2 straight out the box it's gonna be expensive.
I guess the AR glasses rumour came from that google-glass-esque patent that MS recently filed. I'd be surprised if anything came of it to do with xbox, at least at launch anyway.
What? Why are you bringing an argument I clearly didn't start into this? What has people claiming things about Sony have to do with anything I said?
You've obviously gotten the wrong end of the stick and assumed I'm trying to "represent a company", if I'm trying to represent anything it's my disgust over the ease at which these game 'journalists' buy into hype created by the big companies.
The writer has clearly bought into MS's hype over surface and has already proclaimed it the second coming. Too many assumptions made and very little evidence to back any of them up, we just don't know enough about either of their plans to make such judgements.
What I see is a 'cool' but ultimately impotent gimmick that will not inspire developers beyond tacked on 'features' unless it gets the kind of forced-onto-you attention that Nintendo has put on ...
If its true that Nintendo are deliberately restricting the Wii UK's ability to upscale Wii games to HD then I have to blurt a resounding boo in Nintys general direction.
I haven't been a fan for most of my life for you to start penny pinching now, you're better than that Nintendo.
Two FPS games? True a LOT of people, even older farts like myself, are satisfied with just a handful of shooter games and their yearly Fifa or similar.
Personally I'd like to think there's more to gaming than that.
I think its fairer to say that the 'core' gamers generally don't care about Kinect but there's a big casual market that seem to like the thing, flaws and all.
A lot of people like to claim MS is now focused on that very market and neglecting the relatively small section of gamers that consider themselves core. I say if it makes them more money then there's no question MS will jump at it like a rabid dog on heat, more power to them. However I need more focu...
*sigh* I wish the console manufacturer apologists would just man-up and be willing to discuss their preferred consoles drawbacks in a mature manner, instead of just drive-by disagreeing.
I was hoping to hear some great ideas how MS could push their next console to greater things, maybe even grasp their turn at totally dominating a generation like both Sony and Nintendo have done in the past.
No matter what system people prefer, nobody can take criticism, even...
Just because you may have read the individual opinions listed in the article in previous write-ups doesn't mean the writer didn't sit down and think about them him/herself and also doesn't make them any less informative for people who may not have thought/read about these things.
What matters is that the writer has valid and honest concerns that were put across in an informative and well written manner, which is, like I previously stated, rare.
I went into the article expecting a terribly biased and poorly written piece, since the site is called Sony-gamer.com after all. However the writer gives informative and well-thought out constructive criticisms that you rarely see when people write about the less-than-shiny aspects of a console/manufacturer.
Main points for those who can't be bothered to click through:-
1. Justification of XBL fees if PSN has equal features (x-game chat etc).

As the article states, it's simply easier and faster to use a phone/tablet/pc.
Our ideas of fun differ greatly.
"Netflix: Is it the Best game this generation?"
No, it isn't a game.
Next stupid question please.
Or doom it.
So many free games, so little free time
I think most peoples reaction when first seeing this game is WTF?
No surprises that the Sony execs thought the same, glad to see it got a green light anyway.
Nobody is attacking the 360 or MS here there's no need to jump to their defense. We all know this generations consoles still have some life left in them and should continue to sell and be supported well after the next gen launch.
I clicked disagree on your comment because, it seems to me, you're trying to make out like a hypothetical delay of 720 would have absolutely no negative impact on MS at all. I believe, considering the massive advantage a head start has affo...
"Sometimes you fall in love with something ugly"
Thank you Mr Jack Daniels ¬_¬
Seriously though, I can't think of any games that I like that are generally hated, give me some time and I might update/add to this post.
update: Haze maybe, well I wouldn't say I loved it but it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.
Also The Darkness wasn't all that popular and I really enjoyed it, ...
Doh reply fail, sorry.
Might as well write something interesting... erm... let's see...
Like I said in the blog, I think it would be a mistake to include Kinect with the nextbox as the price would drive customers toward competing products. Instead they should focus on hardware reliability, standard HDD use, Rechargeable controllers right out of the box. Also, although it may be a hard pill to swallow, they need to adopt blu-ray as they can no longer aff...
