Sony products are usually expensive because they try to bring you a very high build quality and cutting edge tech. I'm sure, like with any company, they would try and charge as much as they can get for it but calling it greed is a little immature.

I'm unsure what your point is there, are you saying that gamers would never play on anything other than what they own at the moment? Even if another platform offers a greater experience in their opinion?
As far as I'm concerned, I'll go where the best games are, if that means buying multiple consoles again next gen then so be it. Pretty sure most gamers who aren't motivated by certain loyalties will do the same.

Gamers will go where the games are. If MS switch the focus onto apps and capture the, probably, larger Apple crowd then good for them. Gamers, however, will go to whatever platform offers them the best GAMING experience.

If you're trying to say that the 'targets' are moved after the results come in then that simply isn't true, the rules are there for all to see and will not be changed after E3. In fact I'll vow right now to have the final rules up before 12pm(gmt) the day before E3, just to be fair.
