Good visuals or not, it'll be a good game. Not every game needs to try to push visual boundaries. Halo 3 certainly didn't do it, and look how well it sold. Yes, sales aren't equal to quality, but only a fanboy will say Halo 3 wasn't a solid game.
I've seen a fair amount of them with Linux. I guess you just need to look around a bit more.
Yup, the only reason I have a netbook with Windows XP is so I can run games and other applications.
Well, I think it's a valid thing to post, because gamers are usually interested in deals. Not everyone has the money to constantly buy games after all, especially in poor economic times.
Maybe they'll realize they need more games on their console that are worth keeping. There are very few games made by third parties that are worth the full price.
He just wants you to pay full price for Wii Music ;)
I just grabbed Tomb Raider Anniversary for $5 on Steam, yet it's $15 here. As said in previous comments, these deals are rather disappointing.
Yeah, developers need to learn to balance gameplay and graphics. Too much focus on one end makes a game feel incomplete. Gameplay is obviously the top priority, but it's nothing without proper presentation in other areas.
Yeah, it's hard to top the charge on Red Square in the first game. That is still one of the most exciting sequences I've played in a game.
Happens a lot when the article's picture is somewhat revealing ;)
I usually play the SP to get the hang of the controls just like your buddy, but I usually end up getting too hooked to quit.
Yeah, 30% of people really missed out on a great campaign. I wonder if IW can top All Ghillied Up in MW2.
You guys seem to miss the word "like" in there if you think he meant it's actually another iteration...
Disagrees? Maybe you guys don't understand what I meant. I could say the original Unreal Tournament is "like" Quake 3, but that doesn't stop them from being different games. Just because they're similar doesn't mean they're not different.
The statement didn't seem wrong at all, as the original devs are making this one. I'm sure it'll be a lot like SOCOM, as it's a similar concept but on a much larger scale.
This is true, but would it actually sell enough to be worth it? Who knows what they'd have to do to scale it down enough to get it running on the Wii. It could just not be worth doing for Capcom.
Well, the guy did say it's "basically like an iteration of SOCOM", which doesn't mean it's not an new IP. Gotta love how people don't read the whole statement before reacting.
It'll be hard to trounce a big franchise like Battlefield, but hey, you never know.
You think there would be more than 13 fighters in a game this generation. I love the old games, and of course they should stick with the old gameplay, but surely they could have had more fighters. Heck, even Super Punch-Out had more than 13.
I'm sure all the sites that are actually big enough to get factored into Metacritic have already been accounted for.
I almost lol'd in the middle of class when I saw the part about flailing.
I'm still waiting for the many times rumored Ghost Recon style game with Marines or ODST. That would be sexy.
