its sad how console gamers have to pay a tax to sony and mirco for low res games.
specially when 90% of the games played are available on all 3 platforms and we all know the pc version is always cheaper and true hd.
some of you will moan pc is expensive, though that is not true. All it takes is a 100-150usd gpu to supercharge a 2 year old pc to last this entire gen @ true hd. Out performing any console. so on the contrary consoles cost 300usd, meanwhile the games...

as a pc gamer i might like only 1-2 of the ps3 exclusives.
however i wouldnt pay 10usd (25usd if you are in europe or middle east) for every other game i need to purchase. I rather save the money on buying games and go for a hardware upgrade every year and stay on the tech curve.

while the real hd versions are released on the pc for 50usd.

its great how they have brainwashed you by giving you 1-2 good exclusives a year while charging you a premium for every other low res game you buy lol.

so many games didnt make it to ps3 while they made it to pc. so are we gonna start calling ps3 gaming lame... naa we arent.
splinter cell, mass effect2 havent been announced on the ps3 though they are multiplatform.. doesnt mean the ps3 is lame.

i bet even AC1 on pc looks better then the AC2 on either of the consoles.
agreed id rather get the hd version of the game.

so id rather play it in HD and 60fps rather then low res textures and 25-30fps.
ill run it at 1600p all effects turned on 60fps+

the game doesnt have AA on any of the platforms.
AA wasnt implemented because its a console game and consoles are limited in what they can do. Had it originally been a PC game AA would have surely been there(though only for the pc version.. consoles cant handle AA well).
well its all the bots got.. what else can the use their money on.
crossfire scaling looks really good with the 58XX series.
Still with new drivers it looks good. Sure we cant expect a single 58XX to completely out do a previous gen dual gpu card.
i am more concerned about how hot these cards are getting or the noise output (well that can be taken care with quieter 3rd party fans)
Dont think we can expect too much good from the likes of microsoft.
Microsoft doesnt care about pc gaming because there is no money in it for them.
Look at the ways they are screwing over the bots:
299usd for an XBox (god you could get a pc running for a little more then that).
50usd for live (dont think any of us in our right mind would pay something so outrages; sure the amount is small, but paying just to play online seems awkward...
Imo 249usd +50usd for live for a 3yr old wannabe pc sounds like a rip off lol
imo both the consoles should sell for 59usd.. that would justify the higher priced low res games.

or you could wait for nvidia line up.. that probably will come around jan.
also it depends what your budget is, 5870 might be an overkill for 1080p.

We all know the Wii is a refurbishied game cube. Game cube used to sell for 99usd, anyone buying a wii and thinking they got a bargain, just got robbed in broad day light.
With regards to ps3 & Xbox both of them are comparable to 3 yr old pcs. However their games have an additional tax of 10-25usd which is a tax from micro or sony, over time its a very bad deal for playing games at low resolutions.
For the money a true hd system (pc) could be had and be cheap...
