receive a low res copy after all that.
pc's the real deal imo.
this game has now dropped to 9th on steam as best seller.
the pc boycott is working so far atleast, this game should have been top 1 position by a far margin, now its just behing killing floor lol.
pls do not buy this game.
if you must have it rent it. if this goes a success expect price hikes in the usa for the next COD.
stop paying taxes to micro or sony
gaming on pc is a lot cheaper.
you are deluded if you think constant upgrades are needed.
my older computer made when the ps3 came out :
2.4ghz dualcore
4gb ram
8800gtx
still out performs the ps3 in every game.
and because the games are cheaper.. it cost me cheaper then buying a ps3.
also it does alot more then the ps3 ever can.

not to mention companies like microsoft even charge users to go online.
charge high prices for obselete hardware accessories 100usd for a wifi adapter lol, 100usd for a decade old hd (i could get an ssd for that price).

a 4670 is far more powerful then a ps3 or the 360.
so yea its very adequate for gaming.
it just shows how much the gpus in the consoles have aged.. pc tech moves very fast.
4670 costs 60GBP, small investment but i bet it saves you 10-15GBP per game, making your overall gaming experience cheaper and superior to consoles.
consoles will cost you more in the long run..

you need a computer at home anyways for work etc.
all you need to make that pc into a gaming is a 150usd gpu and that upgrade will last you through this generation... outperforming any console.
while gaming on it will be cheaper by 10-25usd per game.. matter of 10games you would have reco...

yes look at all the good looking games you got on consoles, MW2 pales in comparison to the other console games.
MW2 essentially shows how lazy the developer has been.. it looks just like MW1.. there is no progress.
If ppl blindly support it just because its a COD.. i can bet you MW3 will look just like MW1.
Activiion will use the same old engine to charge a higher price and whore out more profits, that just isnt right.
This game has dropped to 8th position on Steam, it was earlier at top 3 when the pre orderes started... then it dropped to 5 then 7.. now its at 8.. terrible for a COD game, it should be at 1 all the time.

its cool activision raised the pricing in europe as well.
not only are uninformed pc games not buying it due to high price.
many console users in europe are not buying.
the game costs 55gbp in uk thats like 90usd ouch (on consoles)
costs around 60euros in europe again thats like 90usd.
pc and console gamers need to take a stand together.
if you must buy the game.. get a used copy, or else torrent it and send...

pc digital sales have been sky rocketing.
Mostly ppl like to prefer gaming on consoles due to 2 reasons..
1. ppl think consoles are cheaper.. which is not true.
2. ppl find consoles more convienient... this is true to some extent however a little know how of the pc can quickly turn this around.

i really dont see the point of all the hardwork in getting MW2 to work the way it should have.
MW2 isnt anything new.. its just MW1 with new maps. imo ppl could just get the same maps on MW1.
Now if MW2 was a new game i would agree. All IW have done is given it a new SP campaign which is hardly 6hrs at best, multiplayer remains the same.
Most of us didnt even play the original MW1 for the SP experience, i dont expect MW2 experience to be any differ...

console version still runs at 600p.
pc version is still superior in graphics.

consoles will just catch up in 2012..
sony will tell you next gen has started, then you will blindly beleive and pay additional for whatever they feed you ;-)
