Psn or MSlive becoming successful as DD systems, and retail dieing out could spell disaster for console users. As MS and sony would then see no reason to lower prices. Hence console users better hope retail doesnt die.

i have a 5970 installed since it launched. its a beast of a gpu. though i only got it cause i made my bro a pc gaming rig hence gave him my 4870x2 was no need for me to upgrade since 4870x2 was a insane already.

well sure systems which are directly controlled by sony or microsoft have no competition. IE psn or MSlive network have no competitor out there. Hence getting a good deal on them is hard.
on the PC, we get crazy deals from places like steam, d2d etc because there is competition.

i got about 2.5tb space on my pc. more then enough for any DD.
plus storage is cheap on the pc.
most games are within the range of 5-8gb. which would mean i could have about 240 games on pc id say thats more then enough, also getting more stoage is not a problem.
DD for PC is very viable.
pc runs on the big screen tv too.
difference is pc version is 1080p+ 4xAA and it doesnt dip on the frame rate regardless of how fight heavy it gets.
the modding community is an added bonus to keep the game alive much much longer.
yea ps3 has a bad history with multiplats.
pc version is gonna be sweet.

well ppl had reservations about fps gaming on control pads, when they originally came out. Fps gaming got gimped after control pads were released, ppl were fine with it.

really no point upgrading to any of these cpus.. if you already have a quad core. No game will require so much power, in the current trend where games are first made to run on console hardware. same applies to gpus anything above the lvl of a gtx260 seems to be an overkill now, unless you want to run 3 monitors.
they should instead try to convince game developers to make better use of the quad cores on the market already.
The standard windows user has no need for anything above a dual core cpu, hell even a single core is enough for websurfing, chatting or just work.
