Won't get too excited as yet. It'll take A LOT to top the last Nintendo Direct. But if this is about third party stuff, I'm hoping for a reveal that Bravely Default is coming to North America. After the confirmation that we're getting Project X Zone, anything is possible.
The game being released on 360 and PS3 is a good thing, but regardless of what console you own or prefer, Wii U owners were promised that they'd have this (pretty much completed) game by the 26th of this month and what's happening is not fair to them or the developers who worked their asses of to have the game ready by this time, plain and simple.
Well all that shows is that you're just as bad as they are. Grow up.
Once this petition doesn't have a problem with the game being multiplat and no longer exclusive I say go for it. Although I have read that Microsoft's terms and conditions may prevent this from being anything other than a simultaneous release, not too sure if that's the real reason why though, it's just what I heard.
The game coming to other platforms is NOT the problem. Wii U owners were told up until this news broke that they were getting this game two weeks...
Well Monolith Soft is 100% owned by Nintendo so that's as likely to become multiplatform as Mario is.
Have you gotten Fire Emblem as yet? I'm hearing great things about it.
Just like every single other console launch, there's always that dry spell that happens some months after launch. Don't worry, it'll pick up, just like the 3DS and PS3 did. I know I'll be picking up one later this year, same with the Vita.
Well fanboys will always be somewhat insane, no matter which side they come from. lol.
However from most normal people I've talked to, they have no problem with the game no longer being exclusive, they do have a major problem with the delay though, I mean the game was pretty much completed and the release day was just 2 weeks away, there is no real reason they couldn't have released the Wii U version on time then release the the other versions later on. Not to mentio...
They should be more mature about it. I don't think there is any need to boycott the game, just reading what that dev posted you can see how much work they put in to the game. They shouldn't punish these hard working devs because it's pretty clear that this was not their decision, and plus they still get to play the game anyway.
At the same time though, having a game that you were looking forward to that was clearly pretty much completed get delayed really sucks fo...
Wow, this really kinda puts things into perspective huh? Shows the kind of crap devs have to go through due to crappy business decisions by a bunch of guys in suits and ties.
I'm actually glad that more people get to play the game. What I'm not happy about is the delay. Seriously, the game's release date was right freaking there, just weeks away, now it's freaking 7 months. I'm guessing the Wii U version was pretty much already completed why not just release it as originally planned and develop the PS3 and 360 ports down the line. And releasing it the same time as GTA V. I really hope it doesn't get overshadowed like Origins did. These game...
Well said good sir, couldn't agree with you more. I've always said fanboys are what keep the gaming community from actually being a COMMUNITY. And I'm with you on the hopes that the rest of the world doesn't become like China in terms of game consoles.
What games are you interested in getting for the Wii U? If the 3DS doesn't have anything you want but the Wii U has more I say go for it. I'd also say to wait until E3 or until Nintendo reveals more games for each system before you make your final decision.
Agreed.
Fanboys and the way they behave remind me of this story. "The Fox and the Grapes"

Sorry but it's just never going to happen. Fanboys are permanently stuck in a state of mind that prevents them from ever seeing the good in a system they don't own or never plan on owning. It makes them feel better when they keep telling themselves "That system is crap, I don't want it, won't ever want it, hmmm.... this game actually looks kind of good... NO I CAN'T LET MYSELF THINK LIKE THAT!, that game looks awful. Awful awful AWFUL!!! MY SYSTEM IS THE BEST AND IT F...
*looks at the lower comments*
Yep looks like it's happening already.
I'm just glad more people get to play this game.
However others are glad not because they get to play a great game, but because Nintendo lost an exclusive and it makes them more happy than anything. They're glad for the wrong reasons.
And of course the others would be upset because they no longer have an exclusive despite the fact that they stil...
It's like they don't want it to do well. Origins released in November 2011, and everyone remembers the huge games that came out during that period, Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Zelda etc. that month was just insane. Origins got overshadowed really badly by being released at the same time as those games. Hope the same doesn't happen here though. I loved Origins and I'd love to see Legends succeed both in being a great game and in sales so that we can see more of him in the future.
Well, that's great, more people get to play this fantastic looking game. Please try to keep the fanboy comments to a minimum guys and try to act like grownups. That goes for PS, Nintendo and Xbox fanboys.
Sucks that all versions have been delayed until September though. Releasing it in February may have pushed me to get a Wii U sooner.
Sony and Nintendo have always been the consoles I buy and honestly, neither of them have let me down yet. Sure people will have their different tastes and whatnot, and there is nothing wrong with not liking Mario, but to me saying they're all the same without playing them is going kinda far. I mean you seriously gonna tell me that the new Mario and Luigi RPG they announced is the same as Luigi's Mansion 2?
People always say that Nintendo doesn't take risks, it'...
