Today... is gonna to be a long day.
For me, it's both.
@roshi1987
That's pretty much like when PC gamers say "Consoles are holding back graphics".
Okay, but can you show me when he has actually been right about his big predictions?
You're right, it has been this way for every system. You see, when a system is in it's infancy, that when it's easiest for fanboys and gaming "jurnalists" (the misspelling is intentional) to attack the hell out of it.
Saying a system is going to fail is the EASIEST way to get attention in the gaming media. However, it becomes difficult to do that once the system begins to pick itself up(notice the how little 3DS doom articles we have now). I remember whe...
Um... the Wii was the first time Nintendo made a system that wasn't as powerful as the competition. So your statement is a bit hyperbolic don't you think?
Well if we convert that to US currency, it's a little over $400.00 which is about the price most were saying it might be in the US.
Once the game is good, I don't care if it's on PS4 or PS3, just as long as it's released.
Has he ever gotten anything right? No I'm not joking, has he REALLY ever been right about any of his predictions?
Lots of great points made in this article. Like I've said before, the Wii U will become more desirable once it's library expands and probably once a price cut happens (This will probably depend on how Sony and Microsoft price their next consoles). I know I plan on getting one by the end of the year for sure because I know the games available for it will be much improved compared to the offerings it has right now.
With a Vita price cut apparently right around the corn...
Woah, Fire Emblem is doing better than I thought it would, and that's just in the US, it hasn't even been released in europe as yet. It's also nice to see Ni No Kuni and Sly up there.
I love my dreamcast, still works to this very day as a matter of fact. But I love my Nintendo systems as well. Hope that doesn't bother you.
You can only call it a failure, when it gets so bad that they stop producing it entirely and it takes Nintendo as a company down.
However, the article does makes some good points especially on the marketing of the device. Definitely something Nintendo needs to improve. The rest of the article though mostly goes on the assumptions of what Sony and Microsoft will offer in their next consoles, even though we only have rumors on what those systems will offer, not to mention thei...
Okay, whatever man I'll just enjoy what I play and let the fanboys squabble on this site.
I'm just sick and tired of this console war crap and the mentality that we HAVE to choose sides in all of this. And the constant bringing up of specs, sales and "ur consule sucks, LMAO" when all we're really doing is destroying our community from the inside out. Whatever happened to just playing games for the enjoyment and the experiences they give you? How is wavin...
I don't know man, I still enjoyed my Wii and DS despite the fact that I own a PS3 and PSP as well. Games don't instantaneously look bad the minute more powerful hardware is revealed. That's not the way it works. By your logic, the instant PS4 is revealed I'll no longer need to play The Last Of Us because it will now be considered last gen and therefore "a disappointment"
DI? Don't you mean DF as in Digital Foundry? Or are you talking about another site? Not dissing you btw, just want to know which site you're referring to.
Never said I did. Just that folks here like to run their mouths about specs yet when they're presented with something like this they get quiet and wait for folks like Digital Foundry to do the thinking for them. I ain't a tech expert, I just enjoy the games I play.
What's with the lack of comments? Guessing a lot of folks here don't know what it means huh.
Nintendo, does make new franchises. They just aren't marketed as well as games like Zelda and Mario. Hence why a lot of people assume that's all they do. It's kinda Nintendo's fault they're perceived that way to be honest and it's a shame.
People don't acknowledge games like Xenoblade and The Last Story as the Nintendo owned IPs they are because they don't seem like "something that Nintendo would do".
As someone who likes actually likes Nintendo, I do have to agree. But it's not like Nintendo's E3 2012 was exactly that hard to beat anyway lol.
But as I always say, this gen will most likely be the same as last gen for me which means PS4, Wii U and a PC will be what I game on. Already have a 3DS and plan to get a Vita later this year. Gotta have my handhelds too.
