Yeah man, can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for us. Hoping E3 brings some good things.
This month is looking quite good
My to buy list so far is
Bioshock Infinite
Luigi's Mansion 2
God of War Ascension
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate(3DS)
Tomb Raider
Sim City
I'll get Lego City and the Wii U version of Monster Hunter when I get my Wii U, which will hopefully be by the end of the year (or earlier). Don't own an Xbox but I have a friend who'll be kind enough to loan me his once he...
God the DS and PSP were fantastic systems! Especially for someone that loves JRPGs as much as I do. The World Ends With You remains one of my absolute favorite games from last gen. It's gameplay is just so damn good!
And I totally agree with you on the whole "next gen" thing.
At least use Google before you make statements like that. Monster Hunter, Need for Speed and Lego City all come out on the 19th.
@Plagasx
Funny that you only mentioned Mario and Zelda when he mentioned 3 games in his comment that aren't. He didn't even mention Zelda for that matter.
That perception is pretty much Nintendo's own fault though as they don't exactly market their other first party games like Xenoblade, The Last Story or Pandora's Tower, or even their smaller games like Pushmo and Dillion's Rolling Western nearly as well as Mario and Zelda. Hence the...
@Zebramocha
How long is "a while" to you?
Hope sales really do pick up. I'll wait for the actual Media Create charts before I say anything although I do believe that they will see an increase. I'm hoping to get a Vita myself by the end of the year, I think it'll complement my 3DS quite nicely.
The list is small compared to others, I agree, but they seem to be trying more lately than they have been in the past, we'll have to see how things turn out with whatever other plans they have with the Wii U (E3 hopefully). I do agree that they've got a ways to go before catching Sony in this regard. But I must ask, why did you have to say this:
"Oh and Nintendo did a real good job promoting The Last Story, Xenoblade and Pandora's Tower right ?"
...
How did he prove your point? Let me quote you
"I think peoples problem with Nintendo is that their main games are always the same. Nintendo should try making a game with some blood and writing in it. JUST ONE so it could make people stfu , but that's never going to happen, too stubborn."
He proceeds to name 5 games that don't necessarily have blood but do have writing and deal with mature themes(though I'll admit I wasn't the biggest...
"Hell I'll take just a regular console RPG"
You mean like this?

That's what I'm going for man, along with my PC. Also have a 3DS and plan on getting a Vita. True gamers FTW!
Sega was also coming off of the Saturn which was pretty much a failure before bringing out the Dreamcast. Nintendo isn't coming off of a failed console so their chances are far better than Sega. I really loved my Dreamcast though, still have it and it still works to this very day.
Why would you want them to be the same? The reason I love them both is because they both satisfy my needs as a gamer while still being so different from one another. Variety in gaming is never a bad thing folks.
Just noticed Ubisoft is not on the list when we know they're making Watch Dogs. Makes me wonder what's the purpose of not having them there. It's not like it's a secret that they're making something.
Yeah, actually now, the more I look at it, the more strange it seems to me.
Not exactly great news but I'm pretty certain PS4 will be fine. Sony's first party games are what I mostly buy my Sony consoles for in the first place, same goes for Nintendo consoles.
Lego City looks really good. Hope it turns out well.
Nope, when Nintendo ceases production of the system entirely then we can say it's dead. I believe we will have a much clearer picture of what Nintendo has in store for the Wii U when we see what games they show at E3. But I think until then, we can't say the Wii U is "dead". Nintendo does need to drastically improve their marketing of the thing though.
Awesome news, can't help but wish they did a full collection though. But I'll take what I can get, and this finally means we're getting the Final Mix content that we've never seen in the West so that's awesome. Also I second your thoughts on Bravely Default and Type 0 localizations.
June this year I believe.
