True, most seem to be under the assumption that Nintendo is skipping E3 entirely.
Well I expected as much, after all this is
N4G: Where the Headlines are all we read!
They aren't skipping the show from what I've gathered. However, the way they have explained what they will be doing is rather confusing, I'm still not quite sure what to expect here.
Are there going to be small live stage events? Some Nintendo Directs for particular games? Both? I don't know.
You can read more at the Neogaf thread including an official translation and gather what you can from that.

Come on man, you can't be serious. Those kind of generalized statements are one of the many reasons why the gaming community is so damn segregated and always fighting amongst ourselves. If there's nothing that interest you on the system, that's more than fine but don't use the "just for kids" thing as an excuse. That's just plain weak.
Also, try selling Shin Megami Tensei 4, Soul Hackers, Bravely ...
At the end of the article he seems to suggest that their is some Wii U news that we don't know of that may just turn the system's fortunes around. As far as I know, this particular author hasn't been afraid to show that he thinks the Wii U has a somewhat bleak future ahead of it, so to hear him write this...
"Which brings me to the Wii U. Regulars at CVG might be aware that I talk down the console's chances in the most definitive language possible whene...
Most excited for Sony and Nintendo stuff. 3DS already has an amazing year ahead of it. I'm hoping Nintendo can show us a lot of great new Wii U games (Can't wait to see what Retro is working on, not to mention Bayonetta 2) and I'm also hoping Sony showcases some new Vita games. And of course the PS4 is gonna be amazing. Also interested in seeing what Microsoft brings to the table with it's new console. Overall, this is the most excited I've been for an upcoming E3 in a whi...
*no decent RE
Revelations was pretty good. Other than that, yeah I agree.
*no decent FF
Agreed.
*no KH
Sure, just not on consoles, we got Birth By Sleep on PSP and I really enjoyed it, there is also Dream Drop Distance as well, although I haven't played it as yet(trying to clear my massive backlog at the moment). No KH3 would've been a better complaint.

YES! Freaking Shinji Mikami! Not to mention from what I hear the art director is the same guy who worked on the Resident Evil Remake on the Gamecube, one of my all time favorite games. Really excited about this one.
Wow, the first bunch of comments have already proven that NO ONE watched the video.
@darthv72
Well freaking said. Man, I wish more gamers could have your mindset. If it was so then maybe the gaming community could actually be a community, instead of being pretty much segregated by console wars and petty fanboy behavior. I just wish we could all get along.

Hey no problem man, I appreciate that you appreciate me actually reading your article :)
It's not hard to be rational when brand loyalty isn't exactly your thing. Unfortunately that's a problem the majority of N4G has. I'm someone that appreciates all that gaming has to offer and it would be pretty stupid of me to not play or irrationally hate a game just because it's on a particular console.
Don't get me wrong here, I have no problem...
Hahahahaha! Oh god n4g, you guys will never learn to read beyond the headlines won't you? This guy doesn't say anything about the ps4 and the xbox 720 failing (as a matter of fact he clearly states that he thinks their launches are going to go even better than the xbox 360 and ps3). You would swear the guy just blatantly said that wii u would destroy ps4 and 720 the way you guys are reacting. The guys states his reasons why he thinks the wii u will outsell ps4 and 720 (not even by muc...
Funny thing is though, Arne Meyer the community manager at Naughty Dog insists that it's not survival horror but rather a "new" genre. You can check out this statement he posted at Neogaf here:

I'll make the judgement of what it is when I play it for myself though. Just two months to go!
Damn it June can't come soon enough. Really can't wait to get this this game. Naughty Dog and Retro Studios are among my favorite devs EVER because they but so much love into their work and it shows in every single game that they make.
I'm honestly sorry that I clicked on it. Why are they even comparing them to begin with?
Vita is doing great now because it is a great system with some great games coming out for it now and even more in the future. The Wii U is a great console that recently had a freaking 3 month drought of games (I'm guessing due to Nintendo not foreseeing Ubisoft delaying Rayman) and has no solid release dates for any of it's future titles.
Seriously, it boggles...
Like I said before, Dragon Quest X is pretty much a straight port of what has proven to be the least popular dragon quest game ever that was only released months ago for the Wii. I can pretty much understand why people didn't exactly clamor to get their hands on it seeing that it
1) Is already available on Wii
2) Is pretty much one of the least well received DQ games sales wise in years.
I'll admit I expected it to do better, but honestly, it not doing...
Isn't Dragon's Crown being released for the PS3 as well? And Muramasa is an enhanced port if I'm not mistaken, although I've been told that is has quite a bit of additional content, I'm guessing in the same vein as Persona 4 Golden. As far as the various Sony first party games, the only ones I'm aware of for the Vita are Killzone, Tearaway and Soul Sacrifice (correct me if I'm wrong though). Now you mention that the Wii U has nothing on it that you can't alread...
So wait a second. What's the actual point of this article? That after more than a year of abysmal sales the Vita is finally doing better because it's now getting games while the Wii U after 5 months and no major release dates for any big upcoming titles still continues to do poorly (also please keep in mind that this article seems to focus solely on Japan for whatever reason).
Why are folks looking at the sales of an enhanced version of a Wii game that came out a cou...
Um Dragon Quest X isn't new. It was already released for the Wii last year so it is basically an enhanced port as well. Had it actually been a new dragon quest, I think sales would've been a little better in Japan.
Never really been an Xbox fan myself, although I do really like Halo and Gears. My combination of systems has pretty much always been the same as yours, Sony, Nintendo, PC and my lovely handhelds.
I just hope for the sake of the industry that Microsoft doesn't go through with all the rumors we're hearing about the next Xbox. That would be bad for everyone, not just Xbox gamers.
At least you corrected yourself unlike most other people here who seem to have a really bad habit of doing that.
