So it has to be scary to define horror? News to me. Plus, your comparison to Dead Space leaves doubt that actually played the game at all.
Soooooo.....I'm going to have to call your input pointless.
Just avoid them. Problem solved.
OT: It certainly should, and probably will, serve as a genre defining title for some time.
Did their money keep them ahead of the PS3? If the answer is no (and the PS4 is launching without ANY of its predecessor's issues), then what will their $ do for them against the upcoming PlayStation?
No, what's close-minded is your thought process. "All PS4 is a 360 2". Yeah......no.
Yeah, it was the same nonsense that they claimed about the PS3. Look how that turned out. ;)
Quite a one-sided article, no matter how the author thinks he can spin it. I doubt he defended the PS3 when its price tag was unveiled (the lower end being the same price as the X-One, mind you).
You could easily turn on FXAA in the Control Panel (or download a super sampling method). It wasn't "bad" anti-aliasing, it's just a lack of it.
Yep, and free at that.
So what? Dropping features is very different than just dropping a price. Especially on a console that many have already pre-ordered.
I didn't hear anything about Dead Rising 3 launching day-and-date with the X-One. Source?
What games are launching on the X-One, Day 1. I keep hearing that it's "better", but never a confirmation (outside of Forza 5). I'm looking for exclusives, here.
Such an extensive and logical read. Thkns

OT: Agreed. The X-One will be in a better position, now, with the DRM stuff dropped, but the PS4 is still, very much, the more desired console based on chatter around the world.
"Realistically", $100 is $100. Of course it will make a difference.
- Hard Reset?
- Planetside 2?
- Arma?
-Amnesia?
No worthwhile PC exclusives? In what alternate reality?
I'm sure you were there when Kojima said NO to the 360 for MGS4, yes?
I think you meant this the other way around. To date, more PS3s have been sold than 360s.
Apparently, you've not been keeping up with the PlayStation lately. It's cool, nobody's perfect. ;)
OT: We'll see where things go from 2013 and beyond, but from where I'm sitting, the PS4 also seems "future-ready".
Thank you. I felt the same way reading much of the article, which seemed like a hidden agenda hiding behind good grammar.
Agreed.
@ GribbleGrunger: Waste of time. Some people don't know how to define words, they just come on to post without a clue.
@ lopez: There are plenty of horror games, yes, horror (unbelievable, I know), that aren't "scary" at all. Shame you aren't open-minded enough to understand that, however.
