It doesn't say anywhere that you have to use the theme. It just says you have to download it. I have been playing online a ridiculous amount, and if the criteria for getting in was how long that theme was up, I'm going to be pissed.

I'm getting really fudging tired of this Home bullsh!t. I have an idea, how about just release it already for f(*&s sake.

Except Itagaki wasn't involved in Sigma, and later basically called it a POS.

http://kotaku.com/5010331/i...

He's the biggest douchebag in game development, and I hope he never gets another job. His biggest contribution seems to be "add bigger boobs" anyway.

It's $8 US. And I'm pretty sure you'll never see a game with the Dropship and APC together. I don't think they let you do that. I don't know why, but even when I try to make my own server, that option is not available. You have to choose them by map, and there isn't an option for both.

I think that's a major flaw and totally depreciates the value of each booster. They need to fix it in the next patch. The games would be so much better with every vehicle together.

It's about $12 US (I think $15 for the PLUS which gives an extra character slot). It gives you 3 new maps, access to Survival mode (where you earn reward points on Fri-Sun nights) and the characters Johnny and Meryl for use in any game. The characters have special abilities, but I've honestly never seen them used let alone play as one of them.

You can look it up, and buy it, here:

It's nice that we got another Survival server. They always seem to fill up relatively fast.

The auto matching I don't really care about. The system seems pretty broken. Every time I try to join, it takes about 3 minutes to find a game. And 5 reward points isn't very much considering the people with the expansion can get at least 50 for each round of survival even if they lose (even if its only on the weekends). I don't mind it though, and will probably be trying those servers mor...

Actually Folklore used the sixaxis motion controls the best. I didn't even use the sixaxis for Heavenly Sword because I found it hard to be precise.

Folklore is definitley the game that has utilized sixaxis in the best way. It isn't just tacked on for the hell of it. It's actually a fundamental part of the gameplay, and it works.

I can't wait for this game.

If you remember the first Killzone, there was one level that was very colorful compared to the rest of the game. You ended up walking through some sort of park with trees and pink flowers (I don't remember it that clearly). I wouldn't be surprised if Killzone 2 did something similar.

I wouldn't mind if they didn't though. Bright happy colors tend to ruin the atmosphere of a war game.

So what you're saying is you totally love the Avatar idea and can't wait for it? Or do you wish they went in a different direction?

You're quick to blame the dislike for Microsoft's avatars on PS3 fanboys, but you fail to express your own opinion.

Oh and look at that. One comment down you start going fanboy all over the fudgin place. Do you have any idea what hypocrisy is?

That's the best name for a gaming website ever.

It seems like the reviews for this game are all over the place. I guess it just comes down to personal taste.

I hope they're still working on this. The animations aren't very smooth, and the camera doesn't seem to work all that well. I feel bad comparing it with Uncharted, but they really need to at least match the quality of that game. From this video the graphics seem pretty good (hard to tell with the quality).

It seems like this game is destined to be in the shadow of Uncharted. I have no doubt that most reviews are going to compare the two. Well they still have a few months so here'...

Yeah, is Nariko even coming with any US pre-orders? Or are they just keeping Kratos exclusive to the US and Nariko exclusive to the UK?

I want the Heavenly Sword dammit.

Sales don't make the game good, so saying multiplatform games will sell better doesn't magically make them the better games.

Exclusive games are often the best because they can be made from the ground up using the specific consoles specs. And the games you listed don't look all that great. Crysis Warhead is just Crysis with an altered storyline. Killzone 2 looks amazing and I don't need a $1500 computer to run it. COD WaW is being made by Treyarch, and we all saw how COD3 was. CO...

Yeah because Team Ninja makes so many JRPGs. So basically you're saying Microsoft has one developer that makes RPGs exclusive to their console, and it's only because they prefer that platform....

And how does breaking into the western market equate to releasing games exclusively on the 360? You have it the wrong way around. The 360 is trying to break into the Japanese market, which is why they are buying exclusivity/timed exclusivity, or breaking the exclusivity of JRPGs.

Killzone 2 has no feature to call its own? What about the first person cover system, or the most beautiful looking graphics so far this gen?

And why does it need a feature anyway? I haven't seen Halo revolutionize fps gameplay in any way since the first one. Gears isn't really revolutionary either. They dropped a chainsaw gun into Kill.Switch gameplay.

Why the fudge does everything need to be slapped with the AAA seal of approval. Killzone and Resistance were both g...

Guess what Stry, no one cares which platform you buy it on. It's good to see you stay on topic though, since you buying the 360 version is clearly what this article is about.

Why comment at all? That goes double for you devil, I feel like my comment even being this close to yours might somehow make me dumber.

that Nintendo went in this direction? I used to love the Zelda series, but I honestly find the Wii's motion controls repulsive (yes I have played it thoroughly). And the number of peripherals for this console is just ridiculous. I will probably never buy a Nintendo console again if they keep going in this direction. I know the Wii sells faster then a cancer inoculation would, but I can't help but be depressed that I'll probably never play another Zelda game because they decided to target the ...

Yeah, but you don't have to wear the whole costume. You can use certain parts. I'm waiting on the Nariko pre-order bonus because I want the Heavenly Sword (I could care less about the rest of the parts).

Plus, I really want the developers to know that this game is going to sell well. I've never pre-ordered before, but I'm going to with this game.

It's not really story driven at all. Basically it's just a bunch of people from one planet attacking a bunch of people from another planet.

The Helghast were originally human, but where outcast during the first war (which isn't explained as far as I remember). They mutated on there home planet and have changed significantly do to the environment. They attacked Vekta (the earth-like planet), but where ultimately defeated in the last 2 games (Killzone 1 is basically about re-arming...
