Yes, thats the one. Hopefully have plat soon.
Didn't understand it all but good interview. DOOM is fantastic and runs well on PS4 - I just can't beat the boss...
@goldby. Cheers for the info, far more constructive than the disagrees i received...to a question?... It just so happens i started Stranger things last night - bloody brilliant! Its so '80s it makes me want to get up early on a saturday to watch MASK :)
So in movie mode the picture isn't dead set in front of you, no matter what way you face? It actually uses the head tracking so you can look either side of the picture...at nothing? Whats the point in that? Can anybody confirm if this is correct? Not that i don't trust you dude but there are some right f*cking nuggets on here that only speak fluent r'tard.
I was hoping i could lay down on the sofa looking straight up, like the screen was on the ceiling - ultimat...
I will defo be using this feature to watch movies. One sentence in the article i dont quite understand is "Apparently the screen didn’t even fit in the player’s entire field of vision at first and they had to move so that it did". Eh?, with it being strapped to your head surely its in the same place no matter where you move to?
@bruce. Yes they do. I'm not saying you cant build a more powerful machine for the same price, i'm saying devs always put more into the console versions to get more out of the hardware. They do this because fixed hardware allows them to and consoles are where the money is. Too many PC gamers seem take console efficiency personally, like console owners shouldn't be allowed to have a game that runs that nice on such low powered hardware.
Not quite to the same low level dude but i agree their getting better. Your OS will have more overhead than consoles too. I like both console and pc gaming btw, i just dislike it when people choose to forget that every platform has pros and cons. Dont get me wrong, id defo go for a new RX480 build over an xbox but thats just me.
This game looks mint, any reason for no PS4 release?
In raw numbers yes but everybody knows consoles punch above their weight due to the closed nature of the hardware. Uncharted 4 runs on a bloody 1.6Ghz APU! :)
I dont take BC into account when choosing what platforms I use, it doesn't even cross my mind. Just keep your old consoles - no click from me.
A few months ago they show us an AT-AT assault on what looks like the Guadalcanal, now they reveal a VR experience where we can work on the Falcon and kill Storm Troopers...Disney - GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! :)
Its pretty simple mate - Jealousy.
I think what people are trying to say is Sony have no need to push the next gen of console through, PS4 has sold better than expected. On the other hand XB1 has got to be the biggest failure since the Xbox division started and MS would probably be happy to see the back of it. Hence why many peeps think that Neo is an extension to this gen and Scorpio isn't. Personally if i were an XB gamer i would hope the Scorpio was separate, otherwise it may be hindered by the 1.3ishTF XB1 and its eSRA...
You obviously hope so but i doubt it, if Neo can output games at 1080/60 with lots of pretty stuff going on and push the high frames required for PSVR i think it will sell very well. Microsoft's grand plan of the unified windows platform has pretty much clarified what most gamers (that I know) already think, the best combo is PS4/PC.
Back on now!
If you want to get into PC gaming don't let the build put you off, with Google/YouTube available and a bit of common sense you cant go wrong. I like PC gaming but still prefer consoles overall.
Sounds like just another click bait article by a gamer who thinks he's a Journalist, so no click from me.
I also completely disagree with the title statement. Imo the decisions to make xb1 always online and restrictions to DRM were two of the main reasons MS lost so much of the Market to Sony (that, and performance differences). Even after MS chose not to impose those rules i think many were just put off with them attempting it in the first place - everybody knew MS co...
The RX480 doesn't support PCI-E?...you don't half talk some rubbish. I will assume you are referring to the PCI-E slot power draw issues, last i heard that's being fixed tomorrow.
For £30 you may as well get the extra VRAM, personally i'd spend another £20 more on the Sapphire Nitro+ OC RX480.
Yep - runs well on all platforms.
