Good interview, well worth a read.
I understand off screen isn't the best way to view a game's visuals but from that Driveclub looks prettier.
No thanks, I prefer Adblock. I dislike these articles anyway, just uninformative Fanboy beacons.
Both mid-gen upgrades will have pros and cons, go for the one that best suits your needs - simple.
Wait...what? Remasters now cost people their jobs? Don't talk rubbish you muppet.
I've been made redundant 3 times - damn you Day of the tentacle!!! /s :)
The whole time i was reading this article i couldnt help be think it was written by some PCMR kn0b sh!te and alas the very last sentence proved me right. "Why not just build a PC" - if that is the author's solution he really dosn't understand console gaming. Ive built many gaming rigs in the past and have always enjoyed my gaming just as much as i do now, regardless of framerate.
I will be picking up a PS4 Pro on day one regardless of an upscaled 4K experi...
I don't necessarily agree with House, if he even did say that...
I'll be picking up a Pro on day one because I can currently afford it, if I lost my job tomorrow i'd be sticking with my current PS4 but that doesn't mean i'd be any less knowledgeable about PC/Console Hardware or gaming in general.
Check out that headline! Desperate for clicks much?
Its a bold statement to say time isn't a factor as it may be for some. Brand loyalty and exclusives will probably have a greater effect on sales of the mid-gen upgrades IMO.
I've never owned an xbox of any variety and have no plans to in the future, if i wanted to play MS games at similar graphical levels to Scorpio id just build an RX480 rig.
Yep, getting both very soon - life is sweet :)
I wonder how much effort would have to go into just a HDR update so all PS4 gamers get some extra pretty.
Disappointing but not the end of the world, still a good game. Gwent is sh1t though.
No click from me Stealth Troll.
It may not have been everybody's cup of tea but imagine how good The Order would look in 4K.
@1nsomniac
Buyers remorse, its easy done dude. I convinced myself I needed to build a new rig earlier this year, fortunately i was sober at the time. Parts picker, VISA card, beer and a can-do attitude don't mix...
I'm in the same boat, just use ARC (like the article states) or use HDMI directly into the TV and optical to the Receiver.
You believe the PC community is more mature and respectful? I can only assume you havn't read the comments section on wccftech. Lonely angry people.
@45
"believe me PC gamers will force Sony to stream PS4 games"
You're funny :)
@KEL
"Netflix has echoed this, expecting a 20% bandwidth requirement for HDR". I believe they are referring to internet bandwidth, not memory bandwidth.
There's a fair bit coming from the PC elitists too (not PC gamer's btw), probably just p1ssed Sony have spoken of 4K - that's their word!!!
Its a good job nobody listens to them.
Looks like Zelda - sold!
