Don't even need to do the credit card 2 yr plan anymore. Just bought a series X last week at GameStop for $700. They make you buy a $50 gift card and copies of NBA2K22 and COD. Awful games but at least you can re-sell'em.
plz go back to your hentai novels. You're clearly out of your element with such dumbspeak
classifications matter because I just pointed out the historical sales discrepancy between their product lines. Learn NOT only to read Zac but comprehend what you read. Where do I state I hate Nintendo or its success? My curiosity stems from his correlation that the WiiU's failure would have a detrimental impact on the Switch. I provided a counterpoint to his assertion. Nintendo has had commercial failures on 3 of the last 4 consoles they launched. They bowed out of the console market and...
I guess thanks for rounding up all the games of 2021 delayed into 22. Watch half their list become a "Top games of 2023" article
why? The Switch is a handheld and 3DS's 75 million sales represent the lowest sales ever for a Nintendo handheld. The WiiU was/is Nintendo's last console. Long as future products output to a larger display, they don't need two products that essentially are redundant. I personally think Nintendo was ready to drop its console segment when the Wii launched but its success caught them off guard.
duh. Of course when a company starts a negative trend that's detrimental to the industry we're going to blame who did it 1st!!!! Yeah let's blame Sony who followed 8 years LATER. Jesus how on Earth are Xtwats so fucking stupid is beyond me. Why aren't you blaming Nintendo too since the passage of time is obviously irrelevant to your argument?
because Atom I rarely watch content or listen to podcasts. Between work, family, and my own hobbies, I have very little free time & sure as hell ain't wasting it watching YouTube blowhards gush over 8 bit pixels. I used to go the arcades to play Galaga as a kid. I lived that era. So I have no desire to play underbudgeted games "stylized" to look retro. I wish Sony, MS, and Nintendo had MORE curation. I don't have penis envy over my library's size (hoped that ended du...
How about those "alleged" insiders who were reporting 22 million subs. Then Xbox fans ran with it, conflated the numbes to 25 million because "those numbers are old, it's way past that" mentality. Finally, thanks in large part to the Epic vs. Apple litigation, it was revealed to be 18 mil. subs. If it wasn't for the court case we'd be hearing silly 30 million subs battlecries without any official confirmation by now..
where are all these indie games you reference releasing 1st on Xbox? I see more going to Switch initially because the platform enjoys healthier sales from the indie genre. Unless your referring to GP contracts, which is of course why they would appear 1st on a MS platform.
Honestly, aside from the Ascent and the upcoming Gunk, not much in the way of interesting titles for me. I know I know all the creativity left in the industry resides there, I'm just not willing after...
IMO, biggest problem was its lack of quality. I didn't even make it through the demo the first time without disconnecting. Unfortunately, it was far from just me. The single biggest risk for any MP component and they botched it.
From a visual and performance standpoint it pales in comparison to older UE games like Gears 5 or Days Gone. I know those are first party and maybe the comparison is a bit tad unfair, but Outriders was published by SE. I expect a level of polis...
Him I get but you actually think Sony fans are jealous over a game that took 6 years to make, was publicly marred by a high profile delay, broken up into segments, memes created over it, and given free to play status? Really? Shu should've sent a case of wine over to Greenburg with a note saying "thanks for the last 6 years, we made billions!"
Each and every year MS hoards their IPs for the Holiday season. Each and every year Xbox fans act like the last 3 mon...
2021 was a dud for all. Sony at least had a few PS5 games (although one was a remake). Xbox had no Series X games. And Nintendo seemingly only released Metroid. 2021 was a good year for my backlog.
2022 should be stout. I am worried though, Covid could delay the next two big hardware launches, Switch Too and PSVR2, into late '23
there was an article couple weeks ago. They pushed it to '22
no doubt like Spiderman it's to tie in with the forthcoming movie. It wouldn't surprise me to see the PC release launch around 2/18
because the Mortal Shell devs already had the PS5/serX version on GP. It's an older game, having released in August of last year. Cold Symmetry already got paid via the PS+ contract. They're doing this not to squeeze every penny they can out of an old game, but rather the exposure from both fan bases for future projects.
Like I said we need to look at the platform holder charging for $10 bucks more for new games, upgrade paths, etc....
no, what that should tell you that it IS likely Sony's decision. Unlike MS, most of their first party IPs are locked behind an upgrade path. The only free upgrades have been announced by the devs themselves like Subnautica and Plague's Tale.
Let's call a spade a spade. Whether it's censorship (i.e. digital novels), offering demos as a substitute for games on PS+, or just flat out greed like here, the optics are terrible.
what it clearly shows is that old, UNsupported code is superior on Xbox consoles. However, when the software is supported, PS5 punches high above its weight while the Xbox is constrained. Better load times, resolution, and less frame drops on a game from a MS studio is hilarious. I wonder what the file sizes are; probably not much, like the lack of dualsense support, they didn't fully utilize Sony's SKU either.
Techland better mail back Todd Howard's press kit. He's gettin nervous without it
for such a cutesy game, that end boss fight made me growl a few times. Found exploring for collectibles more rewarding in this game than most open world games. Like you, I think I enjoy these wide, pseudo open world linear games more because of the tighter narrative and better pacing. Excellent game for their virgin attempt
oh please. Nintendo have been the MOST pro-consumer company of the 3 regarding BC. I've been playing last gen games on newer skus since the Wii days. MS only started giving a shit about BC in 2017. Remember that long drought where apparently no software was sold 2013-2016? Yeah, that's when BC and GP became relevant. Lemme guess - you fault Nintendo for non-Switch BC when you know they were mitigating circumstances.
MS paid 7.5 billion to acquire Bethesda. NOT to...
