As I posted later in this thread...
"Xbox fans will tell you how great Forza franchise is yet in the UK, Forza 5, which came out a year ahead of DriveClub, has sold less in the UK. Forza 5 about 310K while DriveClub, as bad as everyone said it was, has sold ~330K in the same market and to remind you, in LESS time.
As the UK has about 1.7million Xbox One owners, this means only about 17-18% of them bought the game? Come on it was a AAA franchise. What happened Xb...
I think the numbers say it all. Even in an Xbox strong hold like the UK, where last gen Xbox dominatated, Xbox One is having issues.

Also, so what is this running on PC or XBox One? Can anyone confirm either way?
Looks great, but would like to see more variations on the kill animations.
This is a really bad idea whether on X1 or PS4. The number of beta games that will probably brick people's consoles will be interesting to see. I'll grab some pop corn.
As that film said "They knew the risks, let 'em die".
At least by the time I play the officially released games they should have ironed out the console bricking, or gone bust because gamers hate the game. Win/Win for me :D
I'm a huge Sony fan and Uncharted fan, but it is so obvious Sony pressured them to retract their article. How could anyone play Uncharted remastered and confuse it with Uncharted 4. As stupid as some game journalists can be, none are stupid enough to make such a mistake.
Sony this is NOT cool❗
If Halo has an impact it will ONLY have qn impact in the US and UK, the ONLY 2 countries where Xbox One sales are vaguely close to PS4 sales.
Everywhere else on THIS planet is owned my PlayStation and that won't change due to the release of Halo 5, Backwards Compatibility, Tomb Raider or anything else Microsoft have announced so far.
Microsoft need a marketting tactical nuke of announcements to move Europe, or anywhere else on the planet, to being Xbox On...
With the PS4 price drop announced today, I think it will be tough for Xbox One to "dominiate" for 3 months running. X1 hasn't dominated in the US since early in the 2015 (April??).
By the end of 2015 PS4 will have sold close to double the X1 world wide and they've been on sale for almost the same amount of time.
By the end of 2016, if Microsoft can't gain momentum, the worldwide gap for PS4 will be close to 3 times X1, maybe even higher...
@Mr Pumblechook
DX12 does not mean a massive jump in graphics fidelity, mainly because Xbox One devs are already using a subset of DX12 that is already quite close to the metal on that console. There will of course be some improvements, but they will not be massive. It won't suddenly jump from 720p to 1080p. It might jump up to 800p, or the devs might decide the extra CPU gain would be better spent on AI, or physics etc.
Game development is ALWAYS about compromise...
Definitely not a game changer. The number of people converting to X1 will only happen in the US and UK, the x360 strongholds. Europe won't touch X1 with a barge pole because in PlayStation they trust. Sony need to fuckup big time to lose Europe to Microsoft.
I'd be surprised if X1 sales will even beat ps4 sales in The US, when BC is finally available to everyone.
Will you need to swap floppy discs?
To me having the game available on both X1 and PC is just Microsoft's way of getting people off their console into a market they control outright. Desktops. That way if X1 continues its non-profitable ways, they can drop it at the end of this generation and fanboys can go back to upgrading their PC every 2 years to play the latest games.
Once QB is released, we'll see that the demos shown so far were running on a high-end PC and NOT authentic Xbox One hardware.
You'll see, Digital Foundry will confirm it.
DC's wet weather effects are hands down better than F6's.
1. The water on DC's hood actually streaks while the car is moving. F6's is virtually stationary.
2. The water also move more realistically up the screen at speed in DC, compared to F6's streaking.
3. In F6 the windscreen wipers only affect droplets in the middle of the screen. In DC the water on the whole screen is affected. Look for example in the left hand corner of the w...
@donthate XNA and Xbox Live Arcade are officially dead from Microsoft. They officially sunset it last week. However, It now lives on in the form of MonoGame - http://www.monogame.net (I worked on it for about 4 years), which bizarrely has been available on PS4 for nearly a year now, while Microsoft are still dragging their feet about allowing it onto Xbox One.
Once Xbox One switches to Windows 10, MonoGame should work on ...
@FlexLuger if you and other Forza fans are *only* interested in the driving part, and don't care about the bells and whistles like crowds, which I think are there to add atmosphere, then you might as well strip it back to just basics. A track, some rain and light and dark, job done. No need for Turn 10 to spend money on recreating a 3D back drop either. Or flags that wave in the wind. It might as well be a 2D image. Like in the old days. That way you just focus on the driving part which ...
Everyway possible? Except sales right??
I bet you were one of those people who bought a HD-DVD and was saying HD-DVD is crushing Blu-Ray. Then reality happened.
Here's a nice fact for you. PS4 worldwide sales, is higher than the PS3 and Xbox 360 sales combined, for the same time period. Let that sink in. Combined!! Sure X1 is selling better, no doubt about it, but PS4 is selling orders of magnitude better. Now with the PS4 price cut announced in Japan, w...
Most bosses in Demon's Souls because you usually faced them with half health.
My favourite and hardest was Flamelurker.
Still best game of last gen for me ❗❗
I love this quote from the article...
"For some reason, kids games always do better on Xbox One than PlayStation 4"
I'll leave it up to you do make of that what you will and what it says about each console's demographic.
I don't think it is any surprise that Sony is still hitting home runs on the NPD charts console wise. When the X1 Backs Compatibility sales juggernaut fails to materialise in December, what next "new feature" wi...
I sent the site owner an email. Not sure if it helped, but the numbers were updated for about 2 weeks, then nothing. I even offered to update that part of the site for them, if they provide the numbers.
