As I've pointed out previously, counting PC as a Microsoft exclusive just doesn't makes sense, because Sony can also publish a game on both PS4 and PC, so does that now make that game a Microsoft exclusive because it is running on Windows 10, a Microsoft platform? If they publish that same game on a Mac, does it then become an Apple exclusive? That thinking is so flawed it isn't funny. Really no logic involved.
Games released on PC/Mac/Linux should not count as ...
I was saying a month or so ago on N4G that this would eventually happen, if Microsoft didn't see any improvements on the console side this generation.
Even though Xbox One is doing better than all their previous consoles, it is not doing well enough for Microsoft and their shareholders.
I still stand by my prediction that Microsoft will leave the console market after this generation, if their fortunes don't change and try to squeeze in on the PC mark...
As I mentioned nearly 2 days ago, Scalebound has now been pushed to a 2017 release date. What AAA X1 game will now replace it? Xbox can't afford to push back too many AAA titles.

Will some other AAA game take its place?
The sweet spot for me is waiting to see if it take off and has real mass market appeal and isn't a niche product.
Once it has been out for 6 months and it is selling well and has compelling game titles, then I'll jump in.
I'm still not convinced of its mass market appeal. Sony aren't talking about potential eye health risks either.
Unspectacular but consistently rate higher on MetaCritic than similar Xbox One exclusives.
I am indeed a grammar nazi, in the hope it will help others. Some people don't like to be helped and prefer ignorance.
You can lead a gamer to water, but you cannot make it drink :)
If I had a choice between enlightenment and ignorance I know what I would choose.
PS. I'm also a typo nazi. It's grammar not grammer :)
I'd need to see more on Scalebound before calling it "awesome". I agree it looks interesting, but as a new IP, like Horizon, it is an unknown quality/quantity.
At least we now have a firm release date for Uncharted 4, while Scalebound is a nebulous Q4 release date, which could conceivably be pushed back to Q1, or later in 2017, similar to Horizon:Zero Dawn.
Agreed, but the PS4 is out selling the Xbox 360 and PS3, *combined*, for the same 25 month period. It's current success is only surpassed by the Wii's success in sales last gen. So the question is..... will the PS4 be a sales fad, like the Wii was??
I'd say No, as it has more 1St and 3Rd party game dev support than the Wii ever had. Time will tell!!
If you could care less, there would be 1 more level of care lower than your current level of caring. While if you couldn't care less, you are at the very bottom of levels of caring. Please my fellow Americans, understand how the English language works.
Back on topic: it may make the Xbox a better machine over time, but typically 3Rd party game developers will go wherever the most gamers are. So over time, using your logic, the console will get better, but fewer 3Rd party ...
@martinstrings,@xasz I'm just presenting the facts from Metacritic. It's not my fault Remedy put their name to a bad port. Everyone also seems to ignore that it was also released on PC. I'm just countering the argument that they have "always" released great games. There is at least 1 exception, which I've backed up with a link. So don't shoot the messenger with facts, when someone makes a massive generalisation about Remedy being faultless!
Agreed. VR for all its immersiveness is not a mass market product. If 3D TV had taken off, it would have paved the way for VR. 3D TV failed, so too will VR. The barrier to entry is too high.
I tried it. Amazing technology!! Won't be mass market though. It will sell to early adopters and be niche. That's my call after using both the latest Occulus and Samsung Gear VR devices.

Agreed!
For those disagreeing with my post about the poor performance of Remedy's Death Rally, see here http://www.metacritic.com/g... - 62 Average on MetaCritic.
I don't make up this stuff.
Just the facts Ma'am!
Unless done extremely well, live video cutscenes risk pulling you out of the Quantum Break universe during gameplay. They should have used the in game engine to keep the player immersed, IMO.
@donthate let me point you to Remedy's 2012 game Death Rally, which was released on PC, iOS and Android. Check Metacritic and you'll see that the game was essentially a flop. So your statement of "Remedy has *never* made a flop" is not accurate.
How many people do YOU kill on a daily basis in your real life? Remind me not to walk down your street 😜
PSN is fixed last time I checked. Have you tried turning it off and on again?? 😀
