I bought it. Never been a fan of the series or of open world games but this looked fun so I got it. Played it for a couple hours and didn't like it. The control and mechanics are very poor.
Rigs was my most anticipated new IP ever. And here we are, 3 months later, and I still haven't gotten though the tutorial because it made me so sick the two times I tried.
I'm a big Gears fan but I think Judgment is the best and Gears 4 is the worst. Overrun is my alltime favorite MP mode. Damn, I wish they would have brought it to Gears 4.
So you hate celebrities for being smarted than you?
I bought this last week new at Gamestop for $10 and it even included an action figure.
The NES, SNES, and N64 launched after their rivals, that's why they had more power.
This current version of Switch is going to bomb hard. They need to make some changes if they don't want this to fail. I personally went from being super excited and a day 1 buyer, to not wanting at all at launch.
Sunshine had, by far, the worst controls in a Mario game and its not even close. No idea the love that game gets while people hate on the brilliant 3D Land/World games.
@Stapleface
TLOU did not launch at $60. I have heard people complain about that for the last 2.5 years.
Unless Nintendo gets rid of paid online and gets a bunch more third party support, no, it won't surpass the WiiU. People forget how good the WiiU's launch lineup was.
Im no fan of TLoU but it still seems to be a much bigger upgrade than this and wasn't full priced either. And it released the following yr, while this is releasing 3 years later. And lets not forget half the tracks in MK8 are already remastered tracks from old games. And damn the hypocrisy. You guys bash remasters but are cool when Nintendo does it. A higher percentage of their games are remasters.
@sd11
I never said you "2-3" months. And re-read your comment. You mentioned Xbox. And no, there are not more games scheduled for Switch in its first 3 months than the Wii U had in its first 8. That's insane. Look at the list of games launched on WiiU above.
Dude, XB1 released Titanfall, Garden Warfare, and Kinect Sports Rivals within about 3 months of launch. PS4 had Infamous. And come on, u simply can't make a case that The Wii U had a worse launch launch window then the Switch. WIIU had a great launch & actually received 3rd party support at first.
You are the one spreading misinformation. MK8 was 900p on WiiU. It is 720p & 1080p on Switch.
WiiU launch lineup was much better than people say it was. I like your list and agree with everything you said, except that the N64 had the worst launch lineup. I think it was still much better than the Switch's launch. It had Mario 64. If Zelda was an exclusive I could see the Switch having the better launch but it's not an exclusive.
Zelda isn't an exclusive so its irrelevant.
Zelda isn't an exclusive. This article is about exclusives.
This article is stupid. This is a launch year so the exclusive lineup should be extra impressive. Then you take into account that Nintendo pulled focus away from the WiiU and I have to wonder what the hell Nintendo has been doing. And their exclusive lineup is trash this year. What exclusives do they have? Arms, 1-2 Switch, Splatoon 2, and Mario if it doesn't get delayed. That is pathetic. But they are lucky that PS4 and (especially) XB1 don't have strong years.
The problem with these Switch re-releases is they're not going to look any better on the Switch. When Sony and Microsoft re-release Uncharted/TLoU/Gears they at least look significantly better. There is no reason for me to buy this.
You think it would hurt Switch sales by them having a better launch lineup?
