I went from excited and definitely buying day one to not wanting it at all. So no, I don't think it stands a chance.
Huh? Who is saying that? It's not just $50 more. It will also be about $50 a yr more with the online. Plus the peripheals cost much more than expected. Its only 32GB so you have to buy a mem card. And we are getting a worse lineup of games then expected, so even the $250 sounds insane at this point.
How does the WiiU version have more features? And I have the game on PS4, Vita, WiiU, and XB1 and I actually think the Vita version is the best.
I was planning on buying on buying this day 1 like I do all consoles but not anymore. Absolutely no need to. There isn't a single game I want that it's launching with. My son no longer wants this either, and he's even a Zelda fan. I really think this thing is going to struggle. At the very least they need to knock $50 off the price and get rid of paid online to compete.
Well you were wrong about the kinect.
We did wait and see, and it ended up being crap.
I think just Zelda, 1, 2 Switch, and Arms so far. MK8 is April.
Such a disappointing conference. Launch lineup is a fraction as impressive as most expected. Only game I'm really looking forward to is this, and even this looks disappointing. It looks weird and I would prefer a sequel to SM3DW.
Wow, Pro controller costs $70. 3 Hr battery life for Zelda. Extra dock costs a whopping $90.
I can't believe I am saying this, but I'm not going to get this at launch. I will wait til Mario. And what about Kart, Smash and Mario Maker? Anyway, absolutely dreadful reveal.
Pre-order canceled!
What happened to MK8?
I think the people people who think this portable console that plugs into a tv, like many handhelds before it, is awesome and full of potential are the closed minded ones stuck in their old ways of gaming.
Microsoft cancelled a game and Sony closed a studio. How are these the same thing and what's your point?
Sony put them in such a bad position by making a Vita game and then a PSVR game. RIgs was one of my most anticipated games ever but I couldn't even get passed the tutorial it made me so sick. My most disappointing game ever by far. I'm not a fan of Guerilla or KZ, but I did enjoy Mercenary. And it's not surprising at all they got closed.
What happened to Drawn to Death? That game looked awesome but I haven't heard a thing about it in a couple years. Also, what happened to Kill Strain?
I have hated games that were acclaimed. It's not being a troll, it's simply having a different opinion. Hated GTA5 for instance and Skyrim. And a game doesn't have to be broken to get a 3. I would give a broken game a 0.0. 3 is fine for an un-fun game.
Not if the rumors are true that it only uses 40% of its power while un-docked.
It's too cheap. Nintendo never takes a loss on hardware so expect the Switch to be a cheap piece of hardware that Sony and Microsoft would have sold for $180. I will never understand why people make such a big deal about price. I would rather something cost $50 or $100 more and be better. You're going to use it for years so whats an extra $50?
I really expected them to not only improve existing tracks but add a few new ones. I can't keep replaying the same tracks over and over. Half of them were in previous Mario Kart games.
