Thumper is pretty good, but they really need to do something about the drifting.
I will never understand the popularity of the 3DS. Mario 3D Land was amazing but I haven't enjoyed a game since, while the Vita had a ton of games I enjoyed. And some people say the 3DS has a better lineup of games releasing than the PS4 and XB1. SMH. 3DS only gets a few big games a year while the others get big games every week. I actually like the WiiU better.
So you think Nintendo is releasing two new handhelds? LOL. They are consolidating their consoles to make the (mostly handheld) Switch. If they were to make another console it would be a home console.
Like what?
If this helps me get passed it I really appreciate it.
I really like this game but I can't figure out how to beat the third level Hotel Hell. The birds kill me every time. There is something I am missing apparently.
I would give it a 7. I personally have too many tracking issues to go any higher. Games are better than I expected though.
The resolution does suck and I don't think that's really a problem the Pro will fix. It has more to do with a screen being two inches from your face. In my first few days with PSVR there are 4 things that stand out to me.
1) Tracking is TERRIBLE. Image always appears to my sides with no way to fix it and the Move controllers aren't properly tracked. Hopefully Sony can patch this.
2) The resolution is terrible. It's funny because I heared PSVR haters co...
I'm a huge Gears fan & I think it's the worst one. No Overrun, no beast, confusing horde. I tried Playroom VR & I think that may be my GOTY lol.
I appreciate your help, but can you be more specific? What is the extension cable and what do you mean plug VR straight into breakout box? Which cord and aren't they all directly from PS4 to breakout box???
My headset is almost entirely unusable. Games play at my sides which makes me sick. The image jumps around which makes me even sicker. The move controllers aren't being tracked right. The headset simply doesn't work for me. Amazes me there simply isn't a button to re-center games. Try playing Until Dawn when the image is 90 degrees to your right while your arms are 30 degrees to your left while the gun is bent backwards. I have also had a game appear completely behind me and ...
LOL at all the downvotes. Yesterday I was called a troll and was told I was making up the drifting issue, but today a bunch of other people have mentioned it too. I was trying to play Job SImulator today (which is amazing btw), and I was literally facing backwards and several feet over. Can't play a game backwards. There should be a button that just centers the game. Hopefully a patch. Holding down the Options button doesn't do anything to help it. And I can't even run the ...
Until Dawn is amazing imo. Most surreal gaming experience I have ever had.
Imo, if you have a strong stomach & Sony fixes the tracking issues it will be worth it. But right now it's hard for me to even play because the image drifts to the sides & the Move isn't tracked right in shooting games. No idea how Google Cardboard doesn't have problems with image drifting but PS VR does.
I was the only person that showed up at my local gamestop at the 10PM launch Wednesday night.
No idea how this game has a 63 on Metacritic. Easily the worst VR game I have played so far. Even if it didn't make me sick & the graphics weren't terrible it's a boring game. If u want a game that really shows off VR I would recommend Until Dawn.
1/5 sounds about right from what I've played. I was never really a fan of DriveClub anyway, but I got instantly sick playing this and the graphics are so bad it's just no fun.
I'm having a ton of problems with mine. The biggest problem being the games aren't appearing directly in front of me. They are way off to the side so i have sit at an angle. Even when I re-center the game they stay to the side. Makes me incredibly uncomfortable and nauseas. Another major problem I have is my perspective jumps around even when I am standing still. I couldn't get through The London Heist because I kept jumping around making shooting impossible.
After both DriveClub VR & VR Worlds disappointed this definitely seems like PS VR's killer app. Great reviews (which would be higher after the free content updates) Can't wait until tonight.
I don't regret getting PSVR, but the tracking is a MAJOR issue. Its so bad I can't play for more than about 30 minutes. Rush of Blood, for instance, will start off fine but 20 minutes later its 90 degrees to my side and my arms will be at a 45 degree angle on the screen when they are supposed to be straight out and the guns will be bent
backwards.
