They hold plenty of adults hostage by childhood nostalgia.

If EA with Battlefield, Medal of Honor, and Titanfall failed to do it, no one else could. I don't think Halo or Destiny are even close.

- Want games not to take a decade of development?
- Want game worlds to be bigger AND better?
- Want NPCs not to regurgitate the same nonsense everytime you pass by?
- Want open-world tropes and copy-pasta content to go away?
- Want more animations, more dialogue, more quests, more bosses, and more NPCs that are less repetitive?
- Want developers to have enough time to finish their games?
- Want your favourite studios to be more risky a...

Recently Bleak Faith, too. And Mortal Shell. Plus many other upcoming games made on UE5.

No, you're only thinking about the limited (and ridiculously useless) implementation of Image ('art') NFTs. Think bigger. Skins in video games could really benefit from using the blockchain. All that money wasted on cosmetics in a game one stopped playing could be sold or transferred to the next game (in a long-running franchise like COD or on a 3rd-party platform, for example). NFTs are actually pro-consumer if done right.

If you don't know, PC already has ...

Sony doesn't have a case here, plain and simple. The deal will go through and they're shooting themselves in the foot.

The board of directors couldn't care less. They'll cash out $95 per share if the deal goes through. Bobby Kotick alone will receive at least $390M (and up to $520M if he acquires more 'allowed' shares before the deal closes).

I'm not a person who delves in politics or drags it in every topic, but I really had a hard time reading this article without thinking it's a socialist activism piece. Like the amount of dissing on anything/anyone rich—or 'disgustingly luxurious' as the author puts it—fooled me into thinking I was reading a Bolshevik's propaganda post.

I know I'm wasting my energy here, but this has nothing to do with Microsoft or Sony. This current gen port was outsourced to Virtuos, a Singaporean development studio with a surprisingly good track record. The publishing rights of the game go to Private Division, the publishing arm of Take-Two.

This 'remaster' is busted on all platforms. Not even a stable 30 FPS on Xbox Series X's 'cinematic' option. 13900K + 4090 (the most powerful PC components av...

EA failed twice to make a CoD killer with Titanfall and Medal of Honor (the franchise that kickstarted it all). The only CoD killer will be CoD.

All the people making fun of the Switch seem to forget that CoD is a highly optimised title. It can run on Potato PCs. Heck, it can run on Intel integrated graphics.
